Best final fantasy graphics on PS1. And hell, lot of fun with Vivi and Quina around.

and at 0:48, you even hear the music slow down a bit. And because it's a MIDI file, it doesn't lose quality

This was the last Final Fantasy for PS1 and it really optimizes it's graphic engine... Well done for the said Platform...
Usually you only see a fraction of the summon spell (Like the Tsunami with leviathan or Mega Flare coming from the sky with Bahamut) and they take no longer than your average spells.
Only sometimes (or all times with a certain ability equipped) they show fully. They actually do better damage like that, and in the last bosses summoning Ark with (Auto-)regen on saves lives.

man those summons were epic....I remember when I got Ark for the first time and used him I was just like DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD: insanity.
Wish you also showed the alternative summon attacks like Fenrir's wind attack. but good video still.

I remember loving Eiko's Eidolons the best for some reason...
And the Phoenix was beautiful/cool (I remember it saved my life during the bossfight at Oeilvert back in the days where I had just discover the game and the world of RPGs... I didn't understand what happened ah ah... ahhhh that was sort of nice to not know anything about fandom or the internet... games seemed much more mysterious that way).
Leviathan's tsunami attack here is better then ff8 tsunami... they should name d attack in ff8 as Waterfall Wave hihihi
Bahumut is the strongest and somehow always the hardest to get

+Ray Brownman where was bahamut ever the strongest? o_O in every final fantasy, there were more powerfull summons like knights of the round, eden, magus trio etc and in ff9, you actually have bahamut since cd1 from the very start and get him for free as a gift later in the game again
IVA ART Well, in III-V he is the strongest though.
+IVA ART : I agree...in FF9, max damge limit (limits, summons,etc) is 9999 (unlike previous versions (FF7( Cloud's Meteorain, Omnislash, Barret Ungarmax, Tifa's Final Heaven, Knights of Round or Bahamut Zero+Quadra Magic) and FF8 (Squall's Renzokouken, GF Eden,etc)...Off.: Lucky, FFX to XV-max dmg is 999999 (maybe)

the long animation will always be up the first time you used the summons.....after that you only get to see the full animation only if the summons hit for a critical hit.
Actually If you go to maiden sari's summon chamber thing you can actually see ark there and there's a wall tablet on the side.
I think you need all pumices pieces too or something.
That ark boss fight was just way too hard, but ark goes harder on the enemies

Does anyone know of the trailer that was on a PS1 demo disc that ends with Zidane on the elevator of Alexandria in game footage it was truly the best trailer I have ever seen for a game now I can't find it.

Holy shit I remember when I first got to the place where those big green dragons were they used to 1hit me,annoying as fuck -.-
and you can encounter them before going to burmecia too...although i wouldn't reccommend it. (where the save moogle is in Gizamaluke grotto)

oh and you need to Pumice Pieces, You can find both of them but you get one from Hades regardless. Just find Hades, beat him and he can synthesize Ark for ya.

ah no , if you have the right equipment luck got nuttin to do with it , ozma is a cake walk , im not really sure what you need equiped right now all i kno is that it absorbs fire and darkness ...um from what i recall lol im sure someone will post what to equip later

You’d think after FF VIII they will up their game and then they came up with FF IX and it was like “meh” even the Summons look bad and lazy. I mean that girl in a swimsuit with sausage hair, they just colored her blue and called her Shiva.

Fenrir's first attack had me laughing so hard when I first saw it. I think Fenrir was my most used Eidolon. XD
