I loved Skyscraper at Cedar Point. I had ridden that thing at least 100-times over the years it was there. They would offer platinum pass holders crazy deals on that thing. Also, I had ridden it at all three of its locations; Dorney, Valleyfair and finally Cedar Point. The first version I had ridden was actually back in 1999 on I-Drive in Orlando. It was named Katanga. It was common practice to tip the ride operator to give a "full power" ride for an extended period of time. Like most versions of this ride, riders were stopped at the top half-way through the ride. Katanga didn't do this to load the other arm as they usually only ran it with two riders. The reason they stopped at the top was to encourage riders to manually flip themselves while at the top. It was really fun, and scary as hell at the same time.
@@peters9889 I believe I have seen it as I was passing through the area for work a couple years ago. I wish I had time to ride it. If I remember correctly, isn't that the one they prohibit screaming on?

My Aunty and Uncle bought Chaos Pendle from Europe and shipped it to Australia. Here they changed the name to “Insanity” and got the design changed because of braking difficulties. Only Fabbri Giant Booster in the United States(for now) is Ray Cammack Shows' Titan. Incredible spectacle and intense cycle. Hope it comes to the San Diego County Fair one day as the company is one of the largest operators at that fair.
There was a Fabbri Booster at the San Diego Fair this year! I rode it a couple days ago and it was a blast. I had a hard time telling what size it was, but it sounds like it was the one you are talking about :)
@@EverythingHyrum The chosen Fabbri Booster was Defender, it is smaller compared to the RCS Titan but it is the tallest booster attraction they have ever had at 133 ft tall. They had a Booster ride at the Seattle Center Fun Forest around the late 2000s. There's an on-ride video of it on RUclips (at the time I am writing this). There is no way I'd ever ride this thing, much too scary for me, but it's cool to learn the history behind it. Thanks for posting.

The booster at one of my local (now closed) parks was named HydroMax. Funnily enough, if you google that name, you get copious amounts of penis pumps. Bit of a heart attack when I was trying to show it to my young nephew.
I love the booster rides, been many times on fabri booster maxx's and it pulls some serious g forces. Funny enough the smallest booster type fabri is offering is actually in my experience more intense than the Maxx version, but this is because you're traveling a way smaller diameter, while making the same flips with the gondola. It makes the ride feel way faster.
The Turbo Force was originally designed and built by Soriani in 2000, but when Zamperla bought the company, they started producing it themselves, making small modifications. The very first Turbo Force once traveled across the U.S. and since 2007 it is operating in Mexico.
Couple of corrections: The first Fabbri Booster went to the UK and was owned by M&D’s (Matt and Douglas Taylor) of Scotland. It made its debut in 2001 at the famous Kirkcaldy Links Market. After getting exported a few years later, Matt and Douglas bought the first ever booster maxxx, called Bomber Mark 2. Is there a ride similar to the Mondial Turnine? The main difference would be that there was only one arm, but still propeller assisted, very tall. I recall seeing it at a county fair in Wisconsin I went to. I seem to remember it being called the high flyer but can’t find anything like it when searching online. The only reason I’m sure it only had one arm is because I remember it swinging back and forth until it had enough momentum to complete the full rotation. I also recall watching the propeller change direction to assist in swinging the single arm each time it would start moving in the opposite direction.
its a shame zamperla isnt making the turbo force anymore. Spectacular midways brought it to my town from 2001 to 2008. Then they sold it after the economy crashed :(

Hell NO, never gonna get me in one of these :P
they look really scary but they aren't that intense in terms of g-forces. But they do look really scary.
@@stendijk8949 they do pull a good amount depending on the model. I've only ridden fabbri boosters but they're quite forceful.
Is face reveal coming soon
Ok i like the coster collage guy but the other guy is hard to hear and when he speaks there is no confidence and he trails off alot it would be a better channel if the other guys wasnt there
You are forgetting the original named booster ride. The huss booster (more like a breakdance)
Ow and some advice, at least try to find Soms videos of the right rides when you talk about that type
homeboy needs a better mic...
Trying to be polite, and please respond, the info given in this video is highly incorrect. As being interested in boosters rides my whole life, this is sad to see videos like this out here.
Could you please tell us what information is incorrect?
Schwarzkopf Fanboy: no
Extremely light info is given to extraterrestrials 👽 btw booster rides are highly DANGEROUS, aka I’m subbed
Lol this was all a joke, glad some people can take it, btw I subbed and I’m Happy!
@cumquatrct3 OH No!!! WHAT CAN WE DO?!?!
Please redo these videos without the guy talking thru a pringles can. You should just narrate the whole video.
My dude love your channel and videos but your friend needs to speak with confidence, consistently and with a clear mic like yourself. You have a voice for it, he doesnt unfortunately, he keeps changing how loud he is, I'm sure he can write and research but he needs to help you out more here, can barely understand him and it's not his accent that's hard to listen to here
Why do one of you sound like you're in a bathroom?
lmfao
I can’t hear a word the other guy says. His mic is utter garbage. I can hear you fine, but I can’t hear him sorry. He slurs his speech so often.
But I think you forgot about this one!... (I don’t know any info about it)
ruclips.net/video/eDeIlMBPNvw/видео.html
Edit: you also didn’t mention this ride on the (inverting pendulum rides) video...
those are not really boosters
Sten Dijk if it’s not a booster ride then is it an inverting pendulum ride?
@@CrazyKevin22 yes he has a video where this one is in
It's a powered swing attraction, not a booster. I've ridden both and in some aspects they do feel similar, but they have very different cycles.
The guy with the accent was painful to listen to...between his apparent inability to read, and his sound quality...yeah, maybe don't use him again🙄
I had no issues listening to him. As did most other people in the comments, apparently. English isn't his first language, but I had no issues understanding him. You sound like a complete jerk.
great escape is running
