Baking soda is a little irritating to my skin. I have to keep the proportion lower. Also adding some magnesium could be beneficial for an antibacterial.
Drag your thumb nail across the product so that what you get out is nicely placed on top of your nail❤ it also allows you to see just exactly how much product you have on your finger❤
Our Walmart has now locked deodorant and toothpaste in glass cabinets. Besides this being healthier and cheaper I won't spend time waiting. Big thanks.
My brand name deodorant formerly priced at $ 2.99. Current price $8.49. Now I can make my own deodorant at home for less cost. Thank you for the recipe.
Thank you so very much for sharing this! This was one thing we hadn't seen any home recipes on. I do use coconut oil for many skin care applications. Now I can add this to the repertoire! Blessings from NW Florida!
Thank you Jenny . That’s a life saver . Do you have a shampoo .or a hand location for weathered , or crack hands because our hands an face get dry ,our feet ? Many blessings to you.
I made your recipe. It turned out great! We did another one to compare. The other one had shea butter in it. Man, that does not smell at all what I expected! Smells bad. We're going with your recipe (lavendar, geranium and vanilla). Thanks for sharing.
Great!!! Thank you so much for inspiring me to make my own today!!! Appreciate your demonstration simple and you encourage your viewers (me) that I can do it!!! Have a blessed day!
really? there's aluminum in their baking soda? i'm thinkin you are getting it mixed up with baking POWDER. yep just checked it's the powder not the soda.
There are some generic brands of baking soda that do contain aluminum, if the package is not labeled 'pure baking soda' or 'aluminum- free' you will want to check the ingredient list..
@@scottanddebranelson8419 Yes. However, baking powder contains baking soda. It is the base of it so actually it would be both that need to be aluminum free.
So, saw this video. Today my husband says he has to get more deodorant. I said just make sure you get aluminum free, He said OK, he "knows." I said to myself, Yeah right. So, I looked your video up again so I can make sure that he gets aluminum free!! LOL! Thank you love!
like this and will try but question ... using that bamboo/wood spoon to mix the essential oil doesn't that make the spoon smell like the essential oil?
My deodorant stick is almost done so I will refill it with this when finished. My question is does the coconut oil turn very soft in the summer since it liquifies in our hot, humid heat? As you’re adding it in a liquid form and the deodorant is still pretty stiff maybe it’s not a concern
My son gets very itchy with regular deodorant. What scent would you recommend for a teenage boy? Also, where does one even buy a variety of essential oils that's not online (I prefer to shop in local stores that emply local people, even if it's a big box store - it's still employing local people)?
My husband likes pine & cedar wood, they smell great together, a little woodsy, but good. For local essential oils I would try your local health food store or a wellness center. NOW is an excellent brand and usually carried by smaller stores. I would skip big box stores as most of those oils are either cut or fragrance oils.
I’m very allergic to most deodorants. The “free “ type is expensive and still breaks me out. Steroids to correct the problem are just not acceptable to me. I’m going to try this, right away.
Wow! I'm so happy you made this video! I buy non aluminum deodorant, but it's pricy! This is a life budget friendly replacement! Thank you!
Just a FYI the great value brand cornstarch is Genetically modified (GMO).
(Rumford Cornstarch is Non GMO).
Baking soda is a little irritating to my skin. I have to keep the proportion lower. Also adding some magnesium could be beneficial for an antibacterial.
I think the bobs red mill brand baking soda (of course more expensive) is not as irritating and more gentle..and supposedly metal-free
Impressive! Who knew? Thank you for sharing 💐 (Please show us how to make face moisturizer)
Awesome .. you should write a book with all the useful recipes and advise you have...I'd purchase one.😊

Another great one! Thanks. 🤗🥰

Good video, thanks for sharing, YAH bless !
Sounds great. 😊❤️does the coconut leave oily residue on clothing? Or build up on pores? Just curious. Think I’m going to whip up a batch. Thank you!
Written this one down...Thanks for sharing.

I'd like to know how to apply it and does it stain clothing?
Can’t wait to try this!! Thanks!!
Sounds like a good idea, except A&H baking soda does contain aluminum. There are brands that do not have that ingredient.

I saved the deodorant dispensers from the aluminum free deodorant and refilled those with the homemade deodorant. Works great for travel.

Azure Standard has cheap arrowroot powder and aluminum free baking soda. Arm and Hammer is not aluminum free

This is how I make my deodorant but I also add some colloidal silver!
How much colloidal silver do you add?
Does the oils stain clothing?

Thanks for your recipe but got a question putting it in a jar what do you use to put it on. Thanks again
Can you use clear gel?
Any substitute for the baking soda?
Does this stain clothing?
Does the coconut oil stain clothing?

👍.
How well does it work on a man’s hairy pits?
Have you ever made baby (body) powder? I was thinking corn starch and essential oils, but worried about clumping.
Hi, does the deodorant wash off easily?
My deodorant stick is almost done so I will refill it with this when finished. My question is does the coconut oil turn very soft in the summer since it liquifies in our hot, humid heat? As you’re adding it in a liquid form and the deodorant is still pretty stiff maybe it’s not a concern
Maybe refined coconut oil would work better
🎉😅😊

@@HomesteadCorner Thanks! That's very helpful!
What if you found out there's no such thing as viruses or bacteria?? Just askin'
If you're shooting for aluminum free, you might want to get aluminum free baking soda.
I’m very allergic to most deodorants. The “free “ type is expensive and still breaks me out. Steroids to correct the problem are just not acceptable to me. I’m going to try this, right away.
The only problem with a jar is bacteria will grow from the air
I guess you can put it in an old deodorant stick.
Been using vinegar for deodorant and shampoo amongst other things.
The Lord Jesus Christ is coming soon. Maranatha
💪👃
Arm and Hammer is NOT aluminum free!!!! 😡
Excellent…thank you!❤
thank you so much
