Another option - you can buy the candle wick or hurricane lantern wick very cheap. For a fragrance with a difference - filter used cooking through a coffee filter and make a candle that smell like steak and chips, or fish and chips, - never use bacon fat, that need to be reserved for cooking. Another cool idea, pour the warm water that comes off frozen bacon into a glass and treat yourself to a shot of bacon juice as a chef's treat for cooking the breakfast. lol

Love this idea❤
Thank you so much ... who would have thought.... Crisco! I am going to try this 🙏
This is great! So, you have tried this...the large jar will really burn for 24 days at 8 hours each day? I think this is going to be in everyone's Christmas gift bag this year, thanks!
BRILLIANT
Such a great idea in these uncertain times. Thank you again ♥️🇨🇦
This is awesome, thank you! How many drops of essential oil should I use?
Great idea!
Great video! Thanks.
Love this!
This is genius!!!!
I see they removed your Plague Candle video! Good thing I wrote all the ingredients down.
Can you repost them here?
I'm with Maureen...would you mind posting here? Thanks!
If you melted about 20% beeswax into the Crisco, would that extend the burn time.
Nice idea
I think adding beeswax would be real advisable
Beeswax actually is healthy to burn and cleans the air I have read. I know it smells wonderful even without oils added.
Yes, I think it would. And also vacuum sealing the jar when it’s not in use.
I had same thought and was looking through the comments to find out if anyone had tested such.
Great video! Thank You for taking the time to share this and have a great day.
What a great idea! Good information, thank you for sharing this! 🌻
1st time watching your videos Very good video / nice presentation ❤
Oh my gosh!! 😳 so cool Maraindia!!
Great idea
Thank you for sharing. ❤
Thank you for this great video 😊
Another option - you can buy the candle wick or hurricane lantern wick very cheap.
For a fragrance with a difference - filter used cooking through a coffee filter and make a candle that smell like steak and chips, or fish and chips, - never use bacon fat, that need to be reserved for cooking.
Another cool idea, pour the warm water that comes off frozen bacon into a glass and treat yourself to a shot of bacon juice as a chef's treat for cooking the breakfast. lol
We’re selling our home and really want to have a vanilla scented candle. Do I need pure vanilla extract? How much should I put in the jar? Thank you for this incredible idea! 😊
Put it until you get a strong fragrance in the oil. You can use imitation vanilla.
@ Thanks so much!
I'm wondering though... doesn't imitation vanilla have alcohol in it?? 🤷. And alcohol is flammable! 🔥
You want to sell your house...not blow it up 😲🤦
Personally.... I would pay the extra few dollars and get REAL vanilla. Or vanilla fragrance oil can be purchased at places like Hobby lobby. (Synthetic fragrance gives me a headache though.)
Thank you.
Now I have another project
That is a great idea..love it! 💕🇨🇦
You have an engineering mind.
Great idea!❤
Great idea! Thank you!
I m so gonna try this.
Thank you for this. Also, what kind of dog is sitting behind you? We used to have one that looked very similar, but we never really knew what he was.
This is so cool.
