  • WEEKLY NOTES:
My guest this week was Greg Brinkley, a former Social Security Disability Claims Specialist. Greg worked for both a state disability claims office and a federal disability claims office making decisions about SSDI and SSI claims. Further Greg evaluated continuing disability review (CDR) cases and conducted fraud investigations.
Greg joined me in answering questions from viewers about how SSA claims specialists evaluate disability applications and we discussed the types of cases that are most likely to be approved early.
I hope you find Greg's insight as helpful as I did.

Jonathan, Your guest stated the MDQF is important and he was sending it to you. I'm not seeing a link to this form in "show notes". Please advise. I'll be on this call tonight. Thank you.

I know this is not true but whenever i have pictured the job of an adjudicator, i see them at a desk with a stack of cases and a stamp and they spend 8 hours a day just stamping DENIED on every application and never even read them.

I agree, most of them are pure laziness and they don't really look at cases, they just denied them, that's why most of it gets denied at the beginning stage..
Untill it gets to hearing that's when it's worth getting your case seen .
They are short staff and they have tons of applications of course they are not looking at cases.. investigate them not doing their jobs..
