    Hi, love the video. I have the same printer and when running the print quality report, it comes out only in black and white. Color cartraiges show ok levels. Ive been running the printer head cleaning and after a few times can now see faint yellow only. What do you suggest i do?

      Hello, print dump sheets. Sheets with just the colors that are not working and from time to time do a head cleaning cycle. You can start with the yellow. Just print yellow until it prints the whole sheet. It is better than deep cleaning all the time as it saves the print head.

    how do you get the message indicating the ink tray is full to go away after cleaning?

      Hello, I was not seeing any message when I started the cleaning. In my case the printer was working but did not print anything due to ink dried print heads.

      Hello, if the black color does come out but is not clear, you will have to run deep cleaning cycles multiple times until it gets unstuck. But do not do many cycles at once, let it rest between cleaning cyclea

    Hello
    Can you help me how to repair "the ink system pump has failed" di hp pagewide pro x476dw?

      Hello, thanks for comment. Regarding your problem it is difficult to say what is going on, it may be some pump failed, it may be electronic component or something else. It would be probably best to take it to a repair shop if you are not skilled with fixing electronics. I hope you resolve your issue soon

    What was the little blue cap you put into the printer when you were adjusting the travel and noise of the cartridge loader???

    • @handymandiy3368
      @handymandiy3368  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hello, I needed to see what is going on inside of the machine. The blue cap is a small magnet. If you check out the door, you will find a small magnet that is mounted there, the magnet is closing a contact that indicates that the door is closed. So what I did is I put the magnet to the contact and that way simulated that I have closed the door so I could watch what is going on in the machine

    What did you use to lubricate the machine?

    • @handymandiy3368
      @handymandiy3368  9 месяцев назад

      I was using machine oil, the oil that you put in sawing machines or guns and such, and one a bit thicker oil on the sliders so it sticks there. You should be able to get it in the electronic parts store.

      Hello, does it say that the cartridge is not genuine or it does not see it at all? If it does not see it at all, I would check the sensor/switch that indicates that it was pushed in, maybe it is broken

    Did you use hot water or can you just use tap water from an outside hose? Also, did you use any particular cleaning solution?

    • @handymandiy3368
      @handymandiy3368  11 месяцев назад

      Hello, I have used warm water but any water will do, the ink will dissolve depending on how old and how much ink is in there. I did not use any kind of cleaning solution, just clean water. Good luck with your cleaning 👍
