I love how they make it look so easy. I know its not, but they make it look like it is. I mean, think about it - that crew just changed 8 tires faster than most of us can position the jack under the car.

The details on the f1 cars are always do amazing. Like every little thing was probably made after months of research and trial and error. There's so many little pieces too.
I hear it take 4 hours to get tires changed at my local M-B dealership.
At your local dealership, one dude is changing your tires and he's not paid enough to be quick about it. If there were a dozen highly skilled and highly paid mechanics taking care of your car they'd finish in less than a minute too.

The trust involved... As a driver, you just have to trust everyone. This is an HR wet dream.
Lewis' stop took longer because the left rear was slow to put on. So Bottas lost about half a second overall. Still pretty good.
Botas' stop was actually faster than Hamilton's.
They actually tried this back in 2017 with an all female out crew. Rumor is they are still changing the tires
