I thought I was going to love the circles but actually I think it looks better without; especially if it's going to be vertical. I don't know why that makes a difference but it does. Yes I'd love to see you play with the curved green pieces next week. Thanks Karen.

I absolutely love the bamboo idea and will probably try it out soon. Very cool! The curved pieces will make an amazing design. To me the negative space between the two middle ones looked like a primitive fertility goddess.

Love how you splice and put the bits in. The circles started looking like eyes and a nose to me, but going vertical, it might take that away.

I also saw eyes and a nose when you put the circles on 🤔. I like it best without circles and feel it needs to be spliced - hence the ‘vine’ idea I guess. I really like it - who’d have thought you and straight lines !

Instead of a string ray what about an octopus or squid? (With the leftover shy eyes pieces.)

    Vine first, circles later?
