Champs swing is a work of art. I would marry that swing.
Lol
It's no McIlroy but it's a good looking swing for sure. Specially beside these two unorthodox swings!
It’s better then Rory in my opinion but that’s just my opionion lol
@@therealenzo1693 not really a matter of opinion. you're just wrong.
I’m not tho Rory generates about 120 club head speed on average and champ generates 130 on average I think you know who’s swing is better
Hey PGA TOUR... now ur getting it!!!!
someone is finally paying attention
The European tour still far outclasses pga but you're right. This is much better than it had been.
For the first time in Wolff's life he is the shortest hitter in the group. LOL.
He’s played with Bryson before
@@benjaminlua6251 Who was the 3rd that day?
Wolff ain’t that long bro
CharlieFairman 6th in driving distance last year. Pretty long if you ask me.
CharlieFairman 4th in average driving distance (333.6 yd)... I’d say he hits it pretty far 😂
wish they were grouped every tourney basically a long drive competition for 18 holes love it!
They should put Champ, Finau and DeChambau in the same paring then!
@@maxcaysey2844 wolff outdrived dechambeu in many holes in us open last round
@@tutteturunen6822 Ok... I didn't know, I stopped paying close attention after Tiger exited the event... Then its even more perplexing why he's getting so much hype about his length and now courses needs to be Bryson-proofed... it seems like the media is just trying to build him up as the next Tiger...
Champ's swing looks so effortless...350 yd carry!!!!!
Thanks, fun to see. It's amazing how much I miss shot track, BD putted for 5 eagles yesterday, all 3 par 5s , 2 par 4s.
Champs got the best swing of the 3 forsure lol
And the worst of the 3. Weird how that works sometimes.
@@lucascarman2578 That's golf for ya lol
@@lucascarman2578 yet hes won twice.
Yeah, the other two are horrendous, hahaha
Champs driver had a different sound to it for sure. What a swing!
The way the video is cut it looks like Bryson drove the par 5 no?
That’s what I was wondering. That’s 500+yrds no way it did.
To within 15 feet😂😂😂
The title makes it sound like they all did

@@kyle_medina it went so far they had to use the green cam
Why does some of the static from the wind sound exactly like the sound effect on NES games used for explosions or a crowd cheering?
Alright thanks for showing some of the big bombs! :)
CHAMP FLEW IT PAST BRYSON'S ON THE LAST DRIVE!
3 totally different swing styles. All could hit the ball a mile!
i dont care if DeChambeau hits it further than Champ, Champ's swing is so much smoother.
he didnt in a few
Never seen Cameron Champs swing before, what a swing.
He tore a muscle in his back and was off the tour for a few weeks. As of now he hasn't returned to form. This is one of the dangers of over-extending the body. One would think that Tiger's back problems would be an example for the players who like to bomb it.
I like how nobody talks about Cambam. Just quietly goes about outdriving Bryson as he usually does
Kyle Coultas on just a couple of shots indeed. But champ has insane genetics for hitting the ball hard.
I’m a big Cam Champ fan but ppl definitely talk about him and as soon as the chatter gets loud he disappears again. He is a physical anomaly and I love that he hits bombs and his launch numbers aren’t even “optimized.”
Arcade mate he has a launch angle of 5 degrees. Although his compression reduces spin, it might also reduce his apex which is what he meant!
His numbers are as good as they are going to get based on his swing. I’m talking about overall optimization based on launch, apex, and overall spin. His swing is what keeps it on the planet but I’m talking solely from a “long-drive” standpoint
Arcade yes he does have high ball speed and you can see a few clips of him hitting up on the ball. He got 2000 spin and carried the ball 364 and out to around 390. And he still swings the club effortlessly. I would argue that he is longer than Bryson in terms of efficiency off the tee. His stock shot is around 4mph faster than brysons but too many people dont pick up on that apparently
I love champs swing 👌.
I just wish there is one video like this with only tee shots for every tournament. It is fun to watch these guys hit booms rather than just putts
6:15 - Can you imagine Wolff with 184 mph ball speed!!!, ... is the SHORT hitter in the group??
well if he cheats he would be the longest ..
Are fairways getting longer to accommodate such long drives? Do pro’s even carry clubs between driver and wedge any more?! wtaf!
shot tracker and stats on every shot PLEASE! Not having all that is like baseball before the radar gun. Good upload!!
Great stuff!
How awesome would it have been to see a Prime Jack and Tiger against these young thunder cats! Obviously using modern 2020 equipment! I think we be surpriced how fast Jack swung back in the day!
and modern ball
Geez these guys must have some serious shaft specs.. wow
I still think that if Finau wanted to swing hard like these guys, he would be the longest.
Or dj
no.
@@murraydmark With a 206 ball speed... Yes!
@@johnnybgood7442 Bryson doesn't have to swing nearly as hard as Finau to reach 205+. you're delusional and incorrect.
@@murraydmark Bryson swings his hardest just about every time. Pretty sure 6'4 athletic freak like finau could get it further.
It looked like Champ out drove him on the last hole? Not sure though.
I dig Wolff's swing .. just like me, but 1000% more accurate PMSL!
Pga tour are smashing the content
The longest 3 hitters on Tour in the same group. Amazing paring!! Bryson and Champ going head to head bombing drives. The only difference, however, if Bryson is a better putter than Champ. Although, Cameron has a small frame and still hits it as far as Bryson 3:37. Champ 192 ball speed to Bryson's 191. Imagine if he bulked up like Bryson? lol.
Did someone call the bomb squad? 💣🏌🏽♂️😳
Love how champ bombs it past Bryson on the last, very humble for a big hitter like himself
Champ has a great swing
How is champ able to put that much speed into his swing i have to imagine it puts a ton of stress on his front knee since he keeps it planted the whole time
BOOOOOMMMMMBBBBBSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Champ needs to up his iron and wedge game if he wants to keep up with these guys on the leaderboard though.
Those dudes are swinging it
De chambeau,s swing speed is insane
But Chaps ball speed is higher or equal on every hole.
what a pairing
Bro if Bryson had a lower spin club/shaft he would be in long driver territory, champ and Wolff get lower ball flight and roll it out with way less club head speed.
That was so entertaining
Champ should bring a launched optimized Driver to The Master and just go for it. His fairway finding, 192mph ball speed Driver, with a 65-foot apex is like a cheat code - but for one tournament, he should just go for it with a 13 launch, 2000 spin, 350 carry, full-on attack mode and see what happens
The way these guys drive the ball they should be at the top of the leader board every week .. but there is more to golf than this... but we do not miss tiger these guys have taken over
Sick microphone static
2:44 I cringed at how Bryson picked up his tee
Ha! It’s because his back is about to break!
Why cringe at that, he bent over
Watch it a few more times then. It looks weird and uncomfortable.
Bryson would cringe at your bank balance
Oh shoot man. You totally just roasted me by assuming my bank balance
this is a brutal video title
for a second i thought bryson drove the par 5 green on the first shot
5:10…Bryson needed to yell fore for the guys on the green. Wow.
Wait until the South African Wilco Neinaber makes it big - 195mph club speed and genuinely effortless
Ain’t nobody swinging a club at 195 lol
Meant ball speed obviosly
Anyone else notice the first drive that Wolff had had 0ft of curve
He can outdrive either of them any time
cam champ>>>
3 very different swings.
This video should be called Golfs Greatest Weirdos
Bryson's like," Who tf is Cameron Champ?"
IMO Bryson’s body just won’t hold up to that swing long term... I see him being broke down in 5-7 years with that swing. Hope I’m wrong.
His swing is actually more mechanically sound and has less movements that could potentially hurt him than what we're used to seeing. As long as that left knee stays healthy he'll be just fine, but that can be said of anyone who drives the ball a long way, except maybe Phil with that weird oldschool swing. The only reason it looks so aggressive and unhealthy is because Bryson is built like the broad side of a barn. Anyone who looks that way swinging a golf club looks just ridiculous and vicious.
With all that being said, he's not going to be making this swing as a 50 year old, certainly. Don't forget the dude is only 27 and probably isn't even in his pique physical condition yet.
Cheers
@Cain Shepard lol i promise you, you and Bryson are not swinging the same way
@@andyk9257 To be fair @cain Said "more common" lol.
@Cain Shepard I don't mean to be rude, I really don't... But you have to understand that comparing yourself, a random person, to a person who swings a golf club professionally, is comparing apples to oranges in every possible way. Not only is Bryson himself an expert on his own body and clearly kinesiology in general, but he has an entire team of specialists behind him. The fact is, if he was going to hurt himself with his swing, he would've done it by now. He doesn't only hit driver 8 times a round, he spends hours and hours on the range and who knows how long at home doing the exact same thing. He's an innovator, and he's using the physique that he's been blessed with in the most efficient way possible. Can you say the same about yourself?
To back myself up, I'm going to draw a parallel now. Remember Tiger Woods? The guy with arguably the most flawless swing of all time? His swing used to be vicious too, but it looked pretty, so no one said anything, and look what happened to his body. I guess the overall point I'm making is that sometimes, people are just built different, and Bryson is one of those outliers.
That. May be true. But Bryson will make his career in that 5-7 years. He’s not a guy who’d ever be much of a factor in 15 plus years from now regardless of this swing.
Did I just see 181 ball speed with a wood?
Champ is longer and effortless
adrien peltier effortless not really. But it looks easier. Bryson is longer,
Stefan Pete 50/50 but cameron LOOKS effortless
Champ isn't swinging out of his shoes like DeChambeau does
Matt Wolfe’s swing is screwing him
dang BRyson drive that 582 yards to the par 5 thats got to be longest ever on tour hahahahahahaha an then a 5 wood 314 yard par 4 he the man they only out drive him when he dont hit driver hahahahahaha
Imagine a hole in one on a par 5
BOMB SQUAD
Geesh! My opinion doesn't matter but, the only way to fight back is to shorten the golf course. Make em shorter, more penal around the greens and 60 yds in. Otherwise, we have a long drive championship.
Then again, the best players are generally long hitters so idk anymore. Have at it I guess.
PGA Tour click baiting smh
Wow they need to change the ball
The ball only travels about 10 yards longer than in 2000... (Rich Shield did the test) Its not the ball here. Mark Crossfield also did a test where he got almost the same distance out of a balata ball from the early 90s by simple changing loft and launch angles. Its not the ball! Its the 130+ mph swing 5 degree attack angle and 1800 spin. DeChambau averaged 325 yards of the tee the week he won the US open this year. When Tiger won the 1997 Masters, he averaged 323 yards off the tee! Think about that! Its NOT the ball!
There need to be more out of bounds. Balls end up outside of gallery ropes, cart path, tree lines, native areas, neighboring holes needs to be OB. This will hold boomers back, focus on accuracy, and make scores higher.
DROPPING 💣 🏌🏽 BOMBS!!
Did that guy drive a par five?
No...
Can you imagine if brysons balls could run out 30 yards as well they just pitch like a wedge
Champ is way more impressive that Bryson and Wolff. Doesn't try to kill it, smaller in stature, great positioning. Shame he doesn't perform as well, goes to show it's not about how you get the ball in the hole.
how can someone so skiny create that speed and hit 350 yrd drives... i would like to hear scientific explanation
I'm curious if champ will change the way he hits driver. From an optimization standpoint its way off. He hits down and lowers the loft. More spin less loft mean less distance. With that slingshot move i think his swing would have to change quite a bit. I do love watching his effortless power.
Aaron B no he won’t. He tried last year but went back to old ball flight. Hits it far enough.
He hits it plenty far enough and his launch numbers keep it on the planet for him. All that spin minimizes his big miss
Swear he was the longest hitter on tour last year and this guys tryna tell him how to hit a driver 😂
I agree but he isn’t wrong. I’m not trying to tell Cam how to hit bombs but his numbers aren’t perfect based on launch, apex, and spin but it’s perfect for him. He would have to change his AOA which isn’t worth it for him bc he already hits it as far as he needs to.
@@nathancrittenden8525 Riiight?!
come on pga grow the grass Bryson dominate every course cause he hits high carry balls the other guys hitting low balls to get the run out
Haha grow the grass out to cater to Bryson?
Fire your audio mixer. Jeeze.
Why do 53 people dislike this video? Boggles my mind someone would watch this and then dislike it..
Chem Trail skies
Did Bryson drive the par 5??
I thought I was the sweetest longest hitter out there says all my exes, but Cam Champ beats me by a mile. Wowww I would trade my 10inch to have that swing. lmao
Mine is 16 inches
Anyone else notice at 2:21 the guy on the right looks frozen but the dude on the left is walking... frozen guys tripping from all the bombs
what the heck😂
Champ consistently outdrove Bryson that day
Bryson, Anything too much hurts you. It looks so greedy that I feel sad.
Effortless champ
It's fun to watch but the Dechambeau back is not going to hold up.
Bryson is the new 'needle-mover'...
Why tho, when Champ is just as long? Why is it then DeChambau who moves the needle? Finau can get it over 200mph ball speed too. I don't understand why its so specifically him, that people associate with extreme length...
I hate his guts
@@Thebatsign Maybe, but thats not what I'm hearing or reading... he has a new approach to the game for sure, but the issue is his length specifically... Its like they forget that there are atleast 2 other who swing at the same speed as him... FInau and Champ! But they get non of the publicity...
@@Thebatsign right... I'm not hating on the guy, I just don't understand the hype! I guess its because he's playing a game that's so far from the game I'm playing as a 4 hcp'er that its unrelatable... I think its great that some people come out and challenge the norms, but I just don't like his style... Not only is he super buff, which isn't going to happen for me, he plays one length irons and his hits driver on all holes... I'm like the opposite... And while I see his points are valid, its just too much of a far cry from the style of golf I'm playing to feel that I can mirror myself in it.
Dechambeau really turns me off watching golf. Can't spend an afternoon watching someone I wouldn't want to sit down and have a coffee with. In fact, I'd get up and take my coffee with me.
Camera work is horrible
Title Gore
Is it just me or has Wolff toned down his trigger move somewhat
314 yard par 4s to these guys is a joke. Why the average tour event is like watching paint dry. Euro tour is so much better.
The players aren't as good though
Wolff swing is like a ballerina...not a fan at all
He makes Jim Furyk's swing look excellent
while these guys are brining excitement to the gam...teh game is trying to change the rules while letting cheaters and long putters go. SLOW play is what keeps people away...not long ball hitters
Golf is getting stupid; time for a pga universal ball that won't go more than 320 yards. It's either that or make par 4s 700 yards. Technology has outdistanced the 7300 yard course. Time for a change.
What do you mean by outdistancing? Par 4 greens should not be reachable with driver? At the end of the day, pars do not really matter. It's just a naming convention. You can set a course's total par to be 1 stroke, and it will not affect competition. The player with lowest number of strokes still wins. And big hitters will have an advantage, no matter the course length.
Its funny how Champ is just as long, but nobody's talking about Champ-proofing courses or that Champ is a game changer! Its all just a narrative the media is running with!
that's because Champ hasn't won anything significant in dominate fashion. Similar to John Daly and Tiger back in the days. Daly was just as long if not longer than Tiger but Daly didn't win in dominate fashion so they didn't Daly proof the courses.
Err, Champ was all the rage around 2 years ago when he first won. He just failed to meet expectations, which, to be fair, were unreasonably high.
Golf must do something doing these 350 yard drives..
they are like the only 8 that can.
yes true..but rory and others are mad lol..I believe they will do something soon
Who cares! Brings eyeballs to the sport.
@@sportsfanatic8070 tiger and rory cares they will change it
@@jamesg2485 I'm skeptical, I won't believe change is happening until the USGA says otherwise.
give justin rose steroids i bet he can out drive bryson
I wish Bryson would change sports. Maybe tennis or something else where he would be able to use his "science"...
You use science in quotes as if it’s fake and arbitrary.
Like it or not, what he is doing works, it’s not sheer luck.
Dj Sickbeatz I agree, but how long before he actually has a negative impact on the game? The USGA will only allow the ball to go so far and his experiments are ruining the game
Everything he does is within the rules and the USGA can limit the ball all they want but it’s not like he is out there manufacturing his own equipment. He is solely optimizing his numbers and swing. If OEMs made products exactly the same then he wouldn’t be having to drop his balls in water to check density. And I’m not a Bryson fan bc I find him nauseating and he plays deliberately slow regardless of the clock. That doesn’t mean his analytical approach is wrong.
Evan Spencer also agree. Just don’t like the dude. He carries himself in a way almost as if everyone else is inferior. DJ still smokes the ball but doesn’t have to pull all the physics into it. Walk up, play the shot you want and move on.
This driver-wedge-putt, driver-wedge-putt, driver-wedge-putt, driver-wedge-putt, driver-wedge-putt, driver-wedge-putt, driver-wedge-putt... game is really getting boring. Time to stop the ball technology from progressing to the point where only 9,000 yard courses will be built.
Have a look at top averages since 2003 there’s about 4 yards of difference
These guys are just more consistent
Callum Docherty no. There’s about 20 yard difference. See for yourself... www.pgatour.com/content/pgatour/stats/stat.101.y2000.html
