They're really listening to the community. I've said I wanted GT/formula wheel that is cheaper than the GS, less rotary encoders, led's instead of lightbar, and they've gone and done it. I feel they've answered to me and feel obliged to get it now lol, and damn don't need to spend rn😅
Thank god that youtube recommended me this video, this channel is amazing! To the point where I'm watching reviews of things that i already own and watched so many reviews for. The content your putting out is just top notch quality bro, keep it up
Would love to see a GS v2 and RS v3 with the data port! and I really hope moving forward they put a data port on all their new wheels so us non-Moza wheelbase users can get into the excellent (read: affordable & quality) wheel range.🥳
I was wanting Fanatec to deliver a more premium Gt3 wheel (not counting the BMW real wheel blah blah). Well this should do. Even with the adapter added is still a bargain
This looks astonishing as a product, the fact that it can work with any wheel base is also incredibly user friendly (I'm hoping this also encompasses the MOZA R5 wheel base, which I'm sure it probably does.) I think I was to make any comment at all, I'd be interested in whether it could be specified (By choice on the website) to have Alcantara Grips? This would be just my own personal preference, which by no means would stop me from buying the product, but it would be a really nice option to have.
Great review. I just ordered one last night! BTW: Your video has great production value. I appreciate the effort you took with the various shots, etc. QUESTION: As a new KS owner, what do you recommend for the various button and rotaries assignments? (I am brand new to sim racing. I mean, like 2 days into it. sigh. My aviation sim yoke is my current wheel! LOL Push to go, pull to stop. I works, sort of.)
Just ordered a KS and CP-R pedals as I jsut got a R9. Although my R5 runs excellent, I did not like the toyish ES wheel...ALSO, I praefer the LED rev indicators and quiet clicks!
Great review - great channel! I'm currently returning to PC simracing and thinking about grabbing an R12 plus this wheel. Problem: the shaft on the R12 is no longer elongate..able(?) and I need my base behind the monitor. If you're rocking the R12 in this video, could you be bothered to tell me the distance between back of the wheel and base itself? That would be awesome thx.
Just curious, given a choice to just own one wheel, which would you choose: the gs or ks? Is it worth to “upgrade to a gs v2p” from the ks? Would you consider the build quality and ergonomics to be that much better on the gs? The ks is a very good wheel but cannot help but feel like I am missing out on what the gs has to offer…
Is it me or is that GT7 in the background when you are playing haha, amazing video but it just had me thinking how you did it with moza, then it struck me, Assetto Corsa can hide as any game now a days lol its such a great versatile sim
Hey Man, I was just wondering what the resistance on the clutch paddles are like, i’m disabled and was planning on mapping then to the accelerator and the brake.
@@xrp_to_the_moon, idk, m8. For the money, the CRPs seem like the weakest product in their offering. If they aspire to compete with Huesinkveld, Simagic, and Asetek, they're going to need something more premium than an overpriced CSL Elite V2 competitor.
This is gt sport right? How do you have a r12/ks (that only works for pc) working for a game only on playstations? Can you get gt sport on pc or did you get it working on play station? Please let me know how you did this. Thanks!
It looks good and honestly sounds very promising. Sad to see its targeted towards GT racing due to the size and the ergonomics of the layout makes me highly question the viability in Formula or open wheel cars. Many have stated how its similar to the Williams F1 car but the size is still far too large to give a snappy response due to the shaft needing to turn more to get the wheel the 180° either way when compared to the FSR. The larger diameter cuts out my style of racing imo. Anything more than 280 just makes most high down force open wheel cars feel sluggish and slow to respond to what is happening beneath you on the road. I know this is a GT rim. But hopefully moza has a more traditional budget open wheel rim on the way. Looking at the formula v2.5 from fanatec or the open wheel mod from thrustmaster.
Yeah just to clarify and as per their product webpage the body is made of composite (plastic) reinforced with carbon fiber. Still a very good wheel but understandable that for cost saving reasons it’s not full carbon fiber like the GS GT or FSR.
@@CoyoteRacing you did indeed, true, I just felt that it would be good to further clarify as it is one of the main differences. Other differences I would have highlighted, and for information purpose, are the paddles are not made of carbon fiber but aluminium and the rotary knobs are not made of aluminum but plastic. Again it is not to say that these changes make it at bad wheel but just to give your viewers are clear idea on the product. Also, and back to the negative points, there is one thing I wish Moza had fixed/changed compared to their previous wheels (and I speaks as a GS GT V2 owner) is their hat switches. I wish they had made as real 8 ways free move hat switches as opposed to the current 4 buttons fixed ways they operate.

Same!
I must say that wheel looks actually fantastic! Great review Corey!

your voice tone the angles of the shots, lighting, music , everything is very very very well done !!!!
Great video. I really love your Reviews, I am soon upgrading my TS300 and i've set my mind on the R9 + this KS wheel
The gloves and the camura work in this video is amazing, knocked it out of the park again Corey!!
Pre ordered man, such a awesome wheel and something I have been asking moza for. Incredible value for money.
I just ordered one of these myself. I like racing GT cars and race in ACC and AMS2. Perfect wheel for those.
Would love to see a GS v2 and RS v3 with the data port! and I really hope moving forward they put a data port on all their new wheels so us non-Moza wheelbase users can get into the excellent (read: affordable & quality) wheel range.🥳

Im sure there will be aftermarket ones soon. There are allready ones for the gs and fsr wheel.
As owner of R5...I am licking my chops for this!
I am bouncing off the walls waiting for mine in the mail!
Awesome review buddy, what sucks is that I already bought the Moza GS V2 GT Wheel :o(

Awesome video. Stupid question are you usoing the ras1ution2 to get it to work with the GT7 on PS5?
Oh I'm not actually playing GT7. It's a hud mod
Just ordered a KS and CP-R pedals as I jsut got a R9. Although my R5 runs excellent, I did not like the toyish ES wheel...ALSO, I praefer the LED rev indicators and quiet clicks!

I already fancied one of these. Now I definitely want one. Im using a CS V2 and I want something to use for F1 and GT racing

Would you consider the build quality and ergonomics to be that much better on the gs? The ks is a very good wheel but cannot help but feel like I am missing out on what the gs has to offer…
I dont enjoy the look of any moza wheel. Except for the new one thats 1300 and still corners cut. Lol

The KS is 300 mm wide. Does the width bother you? Most other formula wheels are a bit shorther than that. My Fanatec Esport wheel is 270 mm wide.
which one do we get? you have told us we need the gs and this one now lol..
Hey Man, I was just wondering what the resistance on the clutch paddles are like, i’m disabled and was planning on mapping then to the accelerator and the brake.
I ordered mine on the 1st of July but then i later found out that they ran out, i guess its not a surprise since this thing is so compelling lol
Love your reviews ❤
Absolutely fantastic, now they just need a good set of pedals and they'll dominate.
Eh? What are you talking about? Moza already have a good set of pedals, the CRP's are mint!

Once moza is console compatible. Fanatec is done imo.
Price aside, ks or gs?
don't put an ad break at 7:11 thats just cringe
otherwise fantastic review, enjoyed it a lot
I know. We pay 15 bucks a month to avoid ads.
If price wasn’t a factor, would you pick the KS or GS?
KS. It works with other wheelbases
How would you rate this ... Over the FSR ?
Good morning, can you program throttle and brake on the paddles ?
How are you playing gt7 with Moza ?
Hello is the ks wheel fine for f1 games ?
Is the R5 enough for this ?
Quick question, you use Moza Racing equipment on a PS5? (as you're playing GT7...) is it compatible already?
It is asseto corsa with a overlay
This is gt sport right? How do you have a r12/ks (that only works for pc) working for a game only on playstations? Can you get gt sport on pc or did you get it working on play station? Please let me know how you did this. Thanks!
Its Assetto Corsa, using a GT7 Hud mod
@@CoyoteRacing oh alright thanks
I think I saw you using the rig for GT7, can you tell me what "adapter" did you use in order to make this wheel work with GT7?
Nope, I think he was using Assetto Corsa with a modded HUD
To use this on the vrs dfp. I'll need the moza universal hub right? I can't plug it directly into my pc?
Yes you'll need the hub
No consle compatability and have to buy quick release mechanism and covertor box for all non moza bases.

I honestly don't understand why most these wheels cost so much tbh. Carbon fiber and cnc doesn't cost that much.
Would it happen to be compatible with PS5?
Moza wheels bases do not natively work with consoles. Some sort of adapter would be required
Hy is compatible with moza R5?
Yes
Why would anyone get the UGLY, cheap Fanasuk McClaren wheel???
This is the fanciest video review I've ever seen. Top Gear producers would be proud.
It's not carbon fibre if your gonna do a job do it properly man
Yeah just to clarify and as per their product webpage the body is made of composite (plastic) reinforced with carbon fiber. Still a very good wheel but understandable that for cost saving reasons it’s not full carbon fiber like the GS GT or FSR.
Hence why I said "Carbon Fibre FINISH"
