Earlier in the year I met up with Danny Wise, who runs a fantastic YT channel called Live In The Woods where he films musicians performing live in woodlands around the UK. He'd invited me to perform something for a video on his channel, and I thought, while you're here, let's do something for mine, too! And with the main criteria being that it had to be a forest, one thing immediately sprang to mind!
This arrangement of Korok Forest is for solo harp, a welcome contrast from the multitracked world I had been living in making Song of Time, but it brought with it the challenge of fancy pedal footwork that often comes with boiling down a fuller arrangement to a single instrument, especially with jazz-inspired harmonies like these! I had a lot of fun playing with timbre in this arrangement too, setting apart different sections/parts of the arrangement using PDLT (playing really close to the soundboard).
Did you spot any Koroks in the video? I looked really hard while we were out filming but I didn't find any, I was too busy playing...!

When I was doing master mode for the first time I decided to get the sword before the divine beasts but didn’t count right so I went off for more shrines and died because I forgot the exact number you needed
Reminds me so vividly of my 947848494943847478449th time attempting trial of the sword on master mode

Yep, sometimes! I am a regular human with regular human problems. Best advice I ever got for this was to listen to your body every day as you practice, and if it hurts, STOP! And try again tomorrow 😁
