- It's not even dark history and it's still broken.
Piercing weapons ignores 30% defense in general.
Moonlight Butterfly just don't even give a damn about defense.

Turn A's definitely the clear winner, thus wave. Even the DX was at least somewhat nerfed with the TSC's output, but good ol' White Doll here couldn't give less of a crap and even without the nuke it just decimates. Really hope the Turn-X is at this level at the very least.
And comes with Century Color.
Do keep in mind that it's the DX, not DX+Falcon. But then, this is also "just" the Turn-A, and not the Black History Turn-A, so...

Having gotten both, ELS Quanta is still stronger. Only real advantage to the Turn A is the Moonlight Butterfly can ignore defense and the MAP attack version is huge. But that wouldn't make it stronger necessarily. That and both attacks require a build up in morale, I call both machines equally good at the most if I had to.
@@kaeaja Morale isn't even a issue really. You have access to skills to boost Morale to super high in 2 uses.
@@ZengarZanvolt Morale boosts aside, I just did a test to show which one does more damage excluding MAP attacks
11,326 (Supercharged ELS Slasher, ELS Quanta) Extra difficulty
11,098 (Supercharged Moonlight Butterfly, Turn A) Extra difficulty
Both Gundams have 420 Attack since that is the amount ELS Quanta starts with I put Turn A's attack up to the same amount, and as you can see the numbers don't lie.
I did all this with lvl 1 pilots with a level 1 ELS Quanta and a lvl 21 Turn A, attacking the SAME kind of enemy, BOTH pilots are the same stat wise with 100 in Ranged, Melee and 110 in Awakened (which Awakened doesn't matter in this case since neither machine makes use of the Awakened stat), and despite the fact that the Moonlight Butterfly has 6,000 power (500 less then either of ELS Quanta's attacks which have 6,500) and can ignore a targets defense, the ELS Quanta STILL did more damage then the Turn A.
So while the Turn A's Moonlight Butterfly is VERY strong, the only times it will out damage the ELS Quanta's two attacks is when someone Defends against the ELS Quanta's attacks, which having played on Extra Difficulty most of the time, it doesn't happen very often so the only times Turn A will win in damage is when someone defends against ELS Quanta, but most of the time that isn't going to happen so most of the time the ELS Quanta is still going to do more damage even if it is only slightly more. The thing here is that since the ELS Quanta starts out with much higher ATK (420 base while Turn A's is 360) it will easily be doing 1,400 some more damage then the Turn A can.
At the end of the day the only thing the Turn A has that the ELS Quanta doesn't is a wide area map attack but if you are going to dump 120 EN into a MAP attack that hits 6 random enemies within it's area of effect, why not just use a Warship Link or a Raid Link for FAR less EN cost and FAR more damage then a measly flat 6,000 that never gets stronger and can reduce an enemies damage output, which, if you have high Reaction in your pilots, you're going to be almost impossible to hit (on average enemies have a 5% chance to hit most of my units due to mobility and reaction stats) then that debuff wont even matter, further showing that dumping 120 en for a map attack just isn't all that feasible unless somehow the remaining enemies have survived a ludicrously high damaging Warship/Raid Link from 1 or 2 Warships/Raid Groups, which just further makes Turn A dependent on staying next to party members for 10% EN regen and use of skills just to maintain it's energy levels, which is a waste.
While the Turn A is certainly an impressive Gundam, it is at best about equal with the ELS Quanta and the ELS Quanta doesn't even need to waste two charges of a Warship Skill to get going and honestly has a far more useful MAP ability in it's Quantum Burst which can heal ALL units within the influence of the ability, be them units you control or AI controlled NPC allies and it fully heals them, which is honestly better then a random target selection 120 EN guzzler that makes Gabriel Iglesias want to say "This thing can kill energy faster then I kill Tacos! O.O"
@@kaeaja I was simply referring to your morale comment, I wasn't saying anything in regards to Turn A damage. Quanta may do slightly more damage but it consumes almost an extra 30% more EN per attack.I only play extra since the capital gain difference is huge, so defending enemies are common. For a unit that cost more than double the capital required, it would silly if it got outperformed. Either way, this is just regular Turn A, not even dark history.

I just hated the grind getting this thing.
It was real easy for me o.o
Right when the DLC for Turn A came out I got it in like 5 minutes. Comparatively it took longer and was more annoying to get the ELS Quanta due to having to complete the final mission of Awakening of the Trailblazer on Extra and then having to shell out 460,000 Capital for it, super worth the price though.
Kinda sad there's no Dark History version.
