I'm a hardcore fan of SRW series.... so I might be harsh but honestly speaking.. Zingar was lacking so much and this is the worst animator for the series. I don't like any of the their work, all their work on specific robots looks cheap and barely any impact (OG battleship/hukk gravity cannon etc). - I liked the details in first attack but bad background and did not move before shooting. -2nd attack the idea is good but implementation is not -3rd rushed, no impact, low budget and skipping frames. -4th best attack although it uses anime cuts-in yet it was the most satisfying attack except the finishing where the enemy explode in white light was unnecessary and the finishing quote with weird toy looking stance/pose ruined it. -5th attack disappointment in every way, rushed, they skipped half of the attack, no brutality, no Zingar badassness barely anything and it was so soft for Zingar character. 3/10 for Zingar in 30.
This is weak. Why everything in 30 is just a downgrade compare to older game. It feel like a good artist hand over their work to intern animator. Feel like watching flash point presentation. Only cool thing I see here is the concept of 2nd attack that put shoulder in the ground to as stabilizer.
DUDE SOMEONE GETS IT! holy sheet, i have been screaming the same thing, this looks hideous, it just a static image of a 3d model barely even drawn in 2D! the attacks feel like it has no weight behind it and its just flashes and light, this is happening with all the other units as well :\ i mean if this is what a mainline SRW game is going to give idk how its any different from a mobile game. But well, cant help but support them, got to keep the series alive after all.
Given how this '30th anniversary released game' turned out, I try to cope with myself that this is a send off to Z-trilogy and VTX's era of render, and hopefully, the next all-star releases will get a new one that, either rival the OG2nd gens, better or very similar and not worse. It's understandable that budget constrain with all-star titles can be very tedious to manage but most of them resemble the quality of the Z-trilogy that was released ages ago. At least it's not a downgrade to the range of @3 or MX downward so I can't say it's that much of a downgrade, but I can agree that most scene directions lack impact compared with its previous releases. I also think it's part of the main reason that All-stars title like this lack the up-to-date render like in OG-line, namely the license cost of each show need to include, as well as shit tons of varieties of both allies and enemy where OGs mostly have up-to 3 or 4 factions conflict at a time, All-stars are involved as many factions as each series they include, make the workload subsequently heavier and need to be a bit of reference accurate, wherein OGs line, they can go as wild as they planned. So yeah, directing and animating skills aside, when you just didn't get paid enough, your inspiration and your effort went down with it too.
@@Tenraio am pretty sure Z trilogy and even heck alpha 3 and MX Had more organic animation than 30, but think about a game as big as alpha 3, Z trilogy and say 30 the real reason why we have been getting such pathetic sprites is because it takes more effort to make everything in HD, till z2 ( ux and bx too) it was pretty much high res but not HD sprite art so they pretty much did whatever they wanted, even VXT were fine, and number of attacks were reduced till T but 30 feels like a joke, i could have lived with the main game being rushed and having bad animation, but DLC? so many months after making all that money? It's a joke! Fan animations on yt look better. If you focus at the amount of attention and detail that went into the tiniest bits of animations from the earlier games you'd see how beautiful they are, yes low res, but atleast made with love and attention, even the tiniest of recoil and weight on the legs of units after and before the attacks were such a treat. Still VXT were very good, but 30 is a mess.
The final attack looks bad compared to OG or the original OGs. Theres no combination or transformation. They just START as 3d mechs on a hill. Animation really lacks impact.
Ratsel is literally just there as a mount. Not a single Aussen attack or additional combo move. Just makes me sad that this half baked DLC is what they gave to Sanger.
I'm very very sorry but this robot taisen has very bad animation, robot taisen OG, Z and alpha where waaaaay better. It's a shame for a 30 robot taisen, i'm very sad...
@@starforcenetwork Nope, I think I will stop. Your comment has made me think on a very good point: Anyone can have his opinion in this entry, I got mine and it’s true that putting a commentary with a personal opinion in those kind of videos are some kind of pointless. Everyone reacts on a video and has his thoughts, writing in a commentary section what one thinks, will not make any change in his or her self opinion if there’s no intention of debate an idea. I want to thank you because your response, seems at first, useless an kind of taunting but had made me think about the importance of writing a commentary. Again thank you. By the way if you want I will like to read your opinion about this game? Have you played it? Do you think this animation is better than other SRT? You really care or is not important for you? I’m not taunting at all, it’s not an attack. Simply an invitation to debate. I apologies to the author of this channel if my commentaries had bothered, it was simply an opinion of a gamer who has played SRT since 2000 and feels dissapointed in this game. Cheers everyone and that the Super Robot Taisen passion follows you forever.
@MIRAGE MAZINKAISER SAGA (please forgive my english) I agree with that for example L-Gaim has very good animations and some others too. I was looking attacks videos and compare to other robot taisen games and sincerely, even there's some good animation for me the animation quality of the game in general is average going to bad. I'm not saying that the game is bad, surely the new mechanics make the game fun and dynamic, but I cannot stand to pay a game where the animation (graphics) is worst than past games. For example for me it's a crime to pay DLC in this game firstly. Take Alteisen Riese and Weissritter and compare with OG games in ps3, only take the Revolver Stake attack in 2nd OG, the rotating camera, the zooms the smooth frames.... That game was release 10 YEARS BEFORE!! 10 YEARS! And now take a look in this one it's not the same quality. The sprites are gorgeous in this game but is clunky, laggy and unsatisfying and plus, you have to pay have this. One thing that made a revolution in SRT was putting animations and make them better and better. SRT is not only a tactic rpg, is fan service, it's a visual show, when you play a new unit you want to see his animations, you want to see your favorite villain make gorgeous attack with an stylish animation that give that feel of epic battle... in this game...well not that much. I know that past SRT had some units with less good animation compare to others, but there was a minimum of quality (Z saga for example: begin to look animations, even the shield and sword clashes are beautiful). This game in graphics terms is an insult to the franchise, a lazy work. If Banpresto cannot do like before, I prefer they cancel games. I'm not against your opinions guys, I'm just a SRT player since 2000 and want to make think about it. I think we have to be more critic with that, if not they will begin to sell SRT with PS1 animations. Take care everyone, thank you for reading and be the SRT passion always with you.

Isnt dygenguar supposed to be more dark colored? I dunno something feels off
It's always like that though
Behold..... SRW's greatest swordsman....... too bad it lost some flair compared to other version in the series.
why is it like a semi 3d? i hate it
WTF ,The worst ikki tousen cutsence
Animation so jank i wish they reused og2/moon dwellers animation as well to make the inspectors shot look well
They should have programmed the weaponry of Dygenguar, only sword skills leave much to be desired. It's greater than cool to fire rocket punch, energy blast, and something else on speeding horseback.
That's because this is Alphaverse Sanger, not OG Sanger. Alphaverse Sanger had all of Dygenguar's on board weaponry disabled and only fights with his Zankantou
@@hawkaiserthefinalbrave1859 You think I don't know that? I played Alpha 2 when it came out. I read "There is nothing my Ship Slicing Dao can't cut" before you grew you hair! If they wanted to, they could have made those available! Speeding giant horse with a giant mecha on its horse back "Booster Kunckle!!!!"
@@catfacepoetry3211 making them available would go against alphaverse sanger's character for a cheqp cashgrab.
@@hawkaiserthefinalbrave1859 you are too boring a fellow fan to reason with.
@@catfacepoetry3211 i respect good writing. Alpha 2 is one of my fsvorite gsnes and i do not wish for characterization from it to be ruined for cheap thrills. If you want sanger to use his on board weaponry, play ogg, og2nd, and ogmd. Moron.
The ps2 did it better
Imagine The Only Thing I Know For Real from MGR as DyGenGuar’s custom BGM. That would be bats**t insane considering the status of both Sanger and Jetstream.
Still OG version better
I'm a hardcore fan of SRW series.... so I might be harsh but honestly speaking.. Zingar was lacking so much and this is the worst animator for the series. I don't like any of the their work, all their work on specific robots looks cheap and barely any impact (OG battleship/hukk gravity cannon etc).
- I liked the details in first attack but bad background and did not move before shooting.
-2nd attack the idea is good but implementation is not
-3rd rushed, no impact, low budget and skipping frames.
The budget become expensive so yeah.
Yeah, some of the sprite are just the ugly 3d sprite that they use in mobile games.
Still VXT were very good, but 30 is a mess.
not bad attacks, but the downgrade respect the other versions are so evident and a little sad
The final attack looks bad compared to OG or the original OGs. Theres no combination or transformation. They just START as 3d mechs on a hill. Animation really lacks impact.
Pretty pitiful animations when you look at games like OG moon dwellers
Ratsel is literally just there as a mount. Not a single Aussen attack or additional combo move. Just makes me sad that this half baked DLC is what they gave to Sanger.
The players were going to make them combine anyway at that point
