  • Testing out the GoPro Max Lens Mod 2.0 on the Hero 12 black and chest mount. Let me know what you guys think about that. Image quality, stabilization, horizon leveling, framing, etc.

    it looks good, I like it that it is a flat image and not the fish-eye effect that gives me a headache when you watch a video where there is a lot of movement the the edges are distorted.

      Well, the fish eye effect is still there but at least there is not that super heavy image distortion like the hyperview setting.

      I agree, its been minimized and bubtly applied on the edges

      @@theodorouandreas1dumb question, what focal length setting do you have the GoPro lens set to here, besides the max lens mod. Linear?

    btw how durable is the lens itself? would you put a go pro with lens 2.0 in your cycling jersey back pocket without rubber cover or will it scratches instantly?

      The lens is quite sensitive i would say. Maybe not in your jersey’s pocket but definitely if you just throw it in a backpack with other sharp objects. And definitely even more out on the trails hitting tree branches and stuff.. So i try to have the cover on when im not using the camera.

    Chest cam is the best by far
