Maybe it's already on DJI's roadmap or maybe it will happen because the experienced drone crowd will want higher quality video with more control (D-Log M, H.265, higher video bit rate, etc). I agree with your assessment. Feel like it's the perfect vlogging drone, and it can capture unique shots. Shouldn't be heavily regulated as it's lighter and has limited range. Needs to be compatible with more dji goggle versions
I agree with your assessment. Feel like it's the perfect vlogging drone, and it can capture unique shots. Shouldn't be heavily regulated as it's lighter and has limited range. Also think the price tag is reasonable.
Audio could've been better as it sounded like you were underwater. Think that part of technology will continue to improve and get better. Overall, nice self-flying FPV drone that DJI has released, and expect more of them down the road.
Indeed, I think we’ll see a lot of refinements and improvements over the coming months. I was still using beta firmware and they’ve already added a bunch of new features this morning, but I didn’t have access to yet. DJI is really good for fine-tuning their products.
When it's doing the dronie or other smart moves, do you need to check before there is enough space since it does not have obstacle avoidance?
Yes, that is definitely a good idea. I have sent it up into a tree and I had to go and retrieve it lol
Was hoping for a tiny whoop from dji. That would be dope.
This really isn’t that much bigger than an 85mm whoop. Nowhere near as agile of course. 😊
@@ScowlerJase yah I'd like to see a dedicated whoop. With agility and DJI's intuitive software and tech. Particularly with their camera setup.
@@yuleowens6441 I think with how they’ve miniaturised the electronics for the Neo, it’s only a matter of time before they do give us a 50g whoop that will fly for 10mins , O4 HD etc:-)
Is the range when using the RC-N3 controller much farther similar to the Mini 4K?
It’s rated for 10 km with the 04 transmission system
Should I get this drone if I'm mainly looking to do FPV videos, or should I look for something else
It would definitely work for that situation, but the Avata 2 maybe a better choice if your primary passion is FPV it’s a little more powerful
