    Was the wind reduction mode on in the bmx clips?

      I actually had it on Auto with RAW audio off. I completely forgot about that setting. I will have to try next time I race.

    Thanks for covering max lens 2.0 settings. Are LOG/Flat or HDR colour profiles available for max lens 2.0 mode? Im mostly intrested in 4k 4:3 50/25fps.

    • @JaredPhillips
      @JaredPhillips  Год назад +1

      Since 4k is 10-bit I believe you get log files with it. If you want a flat color profile you can do that in the settings. Unfortunately when using the Max Lens Mod 2.0 you cannot shoot in HDR.

      It seems like GPLog is not supported by Max Lens Mod2

    • @JaredPhillips
      @JaredPhillips  Год назад

      I’ll have to check on that.

      @@JaredPhillips Thanks. But I think log is not really there when you put the max lens mod. That option should be there in the settings but once you activated max lens mod, the option was gone.

      @@fallguyjames I checked and the log file is there while using Max Lens Mod 2.0. You need to make sure you have 10-bit on. That enables the ability to have log files.

    This has been the most helpful video so far. Can you tell us what the frame rates for 4:3 in all 4k, 2.7k and 1080?

    • @JaredPhillips
      @JaredPhillips  Год назад +1

      Thanks. 4K 4:3 is only 24fps, 30fps and 60fps. You can’t shoot 4:3 in 1080. 1080 16:9 you can shoot 24, 30, 60 and 120fps.

    Hi mate do you know if the max lens is compatible with the 8:7 and 9:16 vertical mode ratio?

    • @JaredPhillips
      @JaredPhillips  Год назад

      9:16 and 4:3 are compatible. 4:3 only in 4k. 9:16 in 1080 and 4k. 8:7 is for 5.3k so the Max Lens will not work.

      @@JaredPhillips An exciting addition to HERO12 Black’s new capabilities is the new Max Lens Mod 2.0 accessory, which enables the market’s widest 177° field of view at 4K resolution at 60 frames per second. Max Lens Mod 2.0 can capture video and photos in three field-of-view settings-Max Wide, Max SuperView and the all-new, hyper-immersive Max HyperView-fully exploiting HERO12 Black’s extra-large 8:7 sensor to enable perspectives that are 36% wider when capturing widescreen video and 48% taller when capturing vertical video, when compared to HER012 Black’s standard lens.
      I found that on gopros page so I think it should work aye 🤔

    • @JaredPhillips
      @JaredPhillips  Год назад

      It’s using the full 8:7 sensor to have the ability to shoot in 4K and crop while maintaining the quality and stabilization. It does not shoot in 8:7, only 4k at 4:3.

      @@JaredPhillips yeah that makes sense. Thank you!!!
