Rules:
1. I not allowed to have any unit that is paired up land an attack at all, though I can pair up for other reasons such as AI manipulation, Shelter, or movement options.
2. All units must get married. This is to avoid the run from turning into a complete Ryoma sweep.
3. I am allowed infinite resources and an early chef's hat.
4. DLC, grind maps, and online battles are banned
5. As a personal challenge, I am going to try and avoid strats that abuse too much chokepoint stalling to make some maps, like chapter 7, just a little bit more interesting.

The nicest thing about Hisame probably is his personal pair up bonuses, because Hinata gives him his +Def at C and A, then Oboro as a mother (which is likely due to her fast support with Hinata) passes down +Def at B, and he naturally has Oni Chieftain for +4 Str/Def pair up, so for a second gen woman he can just massively boost their enemy phasing potential with +7 Def very easily. Shame nothing I said applies here due to the core concept of the series
fun fact Oboro!Caeldori would also have +Def at C, B and A support, but she has no Oni for +4 def (she technically does get General for a total of +8 defense through Ignatius marriage but that’s Rev exclusive and requires actually using Benny and doing Ignatius’ paralogue). Selena also gives +Def at B so Selena!Hisame and Selena!Caeldori have the same personal Def pair up bonuses too, but replaces Oboro’s bad S pair up of +Skl/Lck with Selena’s +Str/Spe, so that’s more optimal if you are a) playing rev and b) don’t mind waiting longer due to Selena a) joining after Oboro and b) not having a fast support with Hinata

thats really fun concept but it has for me personally 1 problem, which is wasting selena who is a really fun/good mother on hisame, on Calderoi its fun (idk other hosihdo men that she gets if any)

Glad to know I'm not the only one that doesn't care for Hisame lmao. As much as I love Hinata, if I mismatch my units and I have to give up a child unit to get my other units married, Hinata is the one that remains single.
It's not even just the map (even though the map is among the most boring in the game), as a character there's nothing he really stands out for. All I know is he has daddy issues, but Nina, Siegbert and Shiro do that same trope a lot better. Other than that, what's his thing?? In his endings he becomes a teacher, but is that even brought up in any of his supports? He just feels like a filler character in a game that's full of them, but without the bonus of an interesting shtick.

This map is so incredibly lame holy moly, it's like they had an intern make it lol. Hisame is lucky that I like using his dude, because that means I tend to end up using him at least as a filler unit anyway lol
