I have beef with Kana - their portrait keeps making Citra crash so they're perma benched if I bother getting them in the first place lol

HD texture pack moment iirc. I think it depends on the pack, but the one on GB has a certain sweat file that apparently causes this (though I'm not sure 100%, I usually play Fates on 3DS)

The dragon vein play with the vantage attack stance was sick

Hmmm yes, chapter 21, aka Kana’s paralogue. My favorite chapter

@@Blueghyeah, when you posted that my brain did a dumb and thought that this video would be chapter 21… forgot there were still 2 paralogues. So in a way I was making a jab at myself, because I’m dumb

I'd love a video that explains why Kana has always been bad in every Fates playthrough I have done
Robin is good, Morgan is good, Corrin is good... it seems like Kana should be as good or better than Corrin, but I always find them to be super underwhelming.

I'm not a game designer, but I'll answer anyways.
Robin and Morgan just have obscene growths, near perfect class access, and a class skill for more experience. Any unit can become busted with the right classes and enough stats to train in them, but Morgan and Robin are so strong that whatever class they switch into, they'll probably be better than anyone in the army at it, which encourages you to keep using them... until Lunatic/Lunatic + throws such high numbers at you that you might as well ONLY use your best units.
Corrin is amazing for joining early, early Dragonstone for high defense and a single, powerful strike for some damage control to make it easier to feed kills to allies, and LOTS of personal skills. Gunther, Felicia, and Jakob encourage supporting Corrin, Silas encourages letting Corrin see lots of Dragonstone combat to reliably stay at low health, and Corrin gives all their support partners a bit more damage output. There's a lot you can do to make Corrin fit a new niche, even super early with no reclassing, just by switching between Yato/Dragonstone and trying a different Pair Up.
Plus, Bronze weapons exist, so while Robin crits and Vengeances everything even if you wanted to feed a kill, Corrin can just turn that off. Also, dual strikes exist to give more units excuses to get chip experience. And, with all the support building Corrin does, they get tons of Friendship Seal classes, AND give out a coveted Talent Class to their partner/Kana.
The problem with Kana is that you WILL have a competent army by the time you recruit them. The fact Corrin has married anyone means somebody else has already been trained and given Partner Seal access to that Talent class, and Corrin is already branching out into other Friendship classes. Kana joins with only Noble, Talent, and Parent classes as options, and no supports - that means less stats on Pair Up, no Supportive personal skill, no extra benefits with Jakob/Felicia/Gunther/Silas, and no reason to really use them over someone you already have trained.
Morgan can join and still out-growth rate the rest of your army at any point because EXP management and class changing work very differently in Awakening. It doesn't matter if you've already got a Dark Flier, Morgan's always gonna be better than everyone except maybe Robin. Corrin starts off strong, but able to prop up the rest of your army well. Kana starts off slightly worse than the rest of your army and doesn't have all those crazy advantages to pull ahead.

Wow can't believe omiyoji Selkie is so good, and since you didn't use the stat boosters on screen, we can pretend this is all natural.

    Your overlay is very nice.
However it's blocking the hp numbers. Could you please fix this?

I caught this mid recording actually, this is an old version of the layout that was changed later to have smaller borders for that reason (seen in my previous videos). Will be fixed in the next video.
