Skymoony It is literally logistically impossible to mod a Carrera S to make it match a Turbo due to the narrower body of the 911 vs Turbo and space requirements of the turbo itself and its extra exhaust plumbing... The S engine also wouldn't last with any forced induction as it isn't built with the same power requirements in mind, i.e the pistons, connecting rods, bearings will almost certainly fail without being reinforced or upgraded as well. Would be cheaper to buy a used Turbo lol
@Jort Rinket it sounds really good to me. It is actually one unique thing about the 911 turbo, very deep sound which is very different from other. Great video and great car.
I like your OVERVIEW (not a "review"). Hope you get to do one for the 911 GT3 RS...if you're lucky enough to get your hands on one. Since they are all spoken for (bought). Even before many are made.
M USMANOV The difference in width is 28mm. For the Turbo S. Hardly noticeable. Especially on the street. Question is do you need the power of the Turbo S over the GTS for "everyday driving"? For me, I would choose the 2016/2017 911 Carrera S. :) Maybe the 2016 911 Targa 4s. And if I had an even larger budget then maybe the Turbo S...so I get to the next stop light faster. :))
it looks like, yea i agree it looks as small as a beetle. I have went on one bfore. Once u really go and look at it, its not that small. It is very short however.
