I bought a Kona N about 3 months ago. I think the price is an absolute bargain for what you’re getting. There aren’t many cars at this price point that offers this tech and aggressive performance and safety features.
I’ve seen videos with cars that have sunroof and heads up displays… think we are getting short changed in US. our version has dead buttons and kind of stripped down. No spare tire!!! Think the car is cool but Hyundai is kinda shady.
@@reggieb532 well it’s because the marketing manager for the Kona N was a little more conservative the marketing manager for the Elantra N added sunroof, ambient lighting and dual zone climate. But the Kona N does get a power driver seat
Well no lol. Do you ever hear those jeeps with big tires. That’s called tire noise. Road noise is normal noise that comes from the outside to the inside of the car.
@@Iegend17 10y or 100,000 miles. Personally, I’m going to hit the mileage cap fast given it’s my daily and my work is far from my house. Either way, I know for a fact sales people tell test drivers to punch it so manufactures should just break-in motors in the factory, under controlled conditions.

I do agree, blast to drive for sure :)

@@robertmcgee3616 if they add those features I’ll be throwing money at them!! Lol 😂
@@reggieb532 lol I must say, the driving dynamics makes you forget that you don’t have those features
The N premium is a fantastic package and puts a grin on my face every time I start it in the carport. I have had it for 4 months and its awesome.
Love the POV aspect, good review man!
It has adaptive cruse controll in the EU
Sadly here in the US no :(. I think Canada does. Not sure why USA doesn’t.
@@Iegend17 yeah I don't get it I have bought one in germany and it has forged aluminum wheels cooled and heated seats etc.
@@AshSolarion wow Niceeee. Lucky hahah
@@AshSolarion I should have imported the Canada version at least, kind of regret it but the car is fun to drive.
My daily. Love it!
What do you think about the suspension
@@Iegend17 it’s great. I’ve always loved hot hatches that have great driver feel.
@@Iegend17 I think they could have offered an actual comfort mode for the suspension. It goes from stiff > super stiff > go cart. Lol
cant decide between this and mk8 gti!
Hey man any GTI in the world can't beat sound stability flat or compare this wet dct of n performance.
@@unexplainedwearenotalone3537 Thats what making me lean more towards this, only thing is the interior I have to go see it in person.
@@braveheart9658 I’d personally go for the MK8. More performance, more tech, more brand recognition from others.
@@canadianaviator everything except performance… kona n is faster
@@braveheart9658 Ig u could tune either one as well
See all those empty buttons? It PAINS me greatly every time I get in my N and see those missing features included in EU version....
Launch control has to be on a flat surface
the road noise is the tires my dude cause lord knows my elantra gt n line also sounds like that and i know is the tires
Well no lol. Do you ever hear those jeeps with big tires. That’s called tire noise. Road noise is normal noise that comes from the outside to the inside of the car.
This is one of the biggest bargains on the market today. If this is not worth its 36k price what car in this price bracket is? Hmm thought so loll
You are right. Such a great SUV for sure and it’s so fun but maybe low 30s is good.
A test drive on gravel would also be nice to see. 🤔
LOL you trying to mess up the suv lol?
@@Iegend17 -No.
I still have no idea how launch control works lol
I own Elantra N and I still haven’t tried it lol. Had it for 3 months lol
RIP break-in period....
You have 10 years warranty. Trust me no one will keep it longer than 10 years
