Kurt Angle is a 1996 Olympic champion, 1995 world champion, and six-time U.S. national champion freestyle wrestler. He was also twice a U.S. National Collegiate Athletics Association champion. Voted by the NCAA as one of the fifteen best college wrestlers of all time and one of the top five best amateur and Olympic wrestlers, Angle went on to become a professional wrestler with the World Wrestling Federation (later World Wrestling Entertainment).
The 12-time world professional heavyweight champion (six titles with Total Nonstop Action, six with WWF/WWE) won all the top-level titles in the TNA and WWE, and also won four major individual titles in his rookie year as a professional. In 2017, Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and continues to be involved with their programs in a part time capacity, placing him on a very short list of wrestlers who have achieved such an accomplishment.
A documentary feature film about Angle's life journey, including winning Olympic gold with a fractured neck and defeating addiction, is currently available on Peacock Network!

@@a.c.slater7989 That's an extremely hard position to be in. You've lived your entire life doing your best to get by without help. You wake up one day and realize you permanently need help because you, for whatever reason it is (in other words doesn't matter the reason), can't do what's needed to take care of yourself in some way (financial, physical, etc.)
Edit: I wanted to add that I had to make this realization about a month maybe month and a half ago. It's very hard to know you're going to be a burden on those around you. I hate it and I'd give 'almost' anything to be self-sufficient.

If Kurt had signed with the UFC he would have made it boom, it was struggling at the time but i understand why he said no. Ultimately he would likely be in less pain if he had been an MMA fighter which it was very sad seeing him sitting there at the beginning of the video because i could see he is in discomfort just sitting there. Thank you Kurt for everything you did for wrestling and for "pro" wrestling
