The word "Free" has this superhuman quality of making even the largest of objects disappear. I've put all sorts of big and bulky items on the curb and they miraculously vanish. Best wishes with your move.
Some wonderful points and the one regarding putting things up for others to take for free is something that I will pursue today. I know there are some apps/websites that I can use.
@@laurenrs Lauren, I found free cycle and I found that Facebook marketplace has a free section and also craigslist. Now I’m going to gather my stuff up and get it out of here and hopefully bless somebody else
If you do not have time to sell something that none of your family etc want they may take it to sell. The UK works on 240V 50hz so most electrical items will not work without a transformer. Transformers cost money to buy and run and take up room. UK houses are smaller so large furniture may not fit or make the room very cramped. Look at UK house selling websites they have room sizes. Most places in the UK (unless you are moving to a small village) have shops withing walking distance so you should be able to pick up a few cleaning products easily. But shops are not open 24 hours, large stores are only open for six hours on Sunday.

Great advice, thank you! We have a couple of transformers, so we can still use some of our small US kitchen appliances.
Two things:
1. I'm so so proud of you ❤
2. Where's the puppy?! 😂
He made a quick appearance 😅
@@laurenrs 😭 too quick
Nextdoor and FB are great for finding boxes and packing materials as well as giving them all away when you are unpacked at the new place.
Yes! I gave away the boxes when we moved to CA literally hours after I posted on FB.
