Thank you, PreSonus, for coming out with innovative and affordable gear that meets the demands of modern music production and content creation! I'm planning on using this primarily with my iPhone for videos, podcasts, and social media, and it's awesome that I'll be able to record quality audio anywhere.

Just got my io24 and love the sound and control. Can we use lav mics with 3.5 mm plugs using a 1/4 inch plug adapter or do we need to use a 3.5 to XLR adapter. I've tried 1/4 plug adapters (both stereo and an RCA mono plug using a 3.5 to RCA splitter cable ) with no luck. Thanks!

Cool review thx, do you know if this actually has 2 independent stereo outputs (1-2/3-4) or its just 1-2 bused out to the outputs and headphones and all the loopback stuff internally etc…I wanna run a dj cue mix 🎧

Here is what I think of the Revelator io24 after extensive use over 3 months in a daily studio - and vocal coaching environment:
It's one of the most innovative products especially the loopback function...BUT it could be truly amazing:
My wish list is the following:
    1. Better Preamps
    2. More ins and outs
    3. A Deesser!!!
    4. More Fat Channel Plugin Options. (Even if you have to pay for it...)
    5. Ability to insert plugins on the Master Channel for a more polished finished sound for streams. (I know there are workarounds, but it would be great do all that within the Revelator environment.)
    6. And finally: This all enclosed in a hardware unit....like the Rode Rodecaster Pro....or one of their mixers.
Revelator could be amazing...is already a very innovative product.

Hi I just subscribed. Thanks for this video. I have a question.
I love Revelator IO24 for streaming and Chating purposes, But when I am using it to record vocal into a track in the DAW (Cubase) while the music is playing, it records everything (music & my vocal) into the track. I want to record only the vocal into a track on its own while music is playing - Can you please show me how to do that? Thanks in advance.

No on/off switch, cable mangement a possible issue with the usb at the front and the headphone out at the back, no hardware mute button. How is this thing together with a wireless headphone set such as the G Pro x wireless? With the GoXLR, it works, with a few workarounds with line out to line in on the computer, but as far as i can see, there isn't any line out here.

I have this interface. I wish Presonus would allow mapping the speaker mute button to mute mic inputs. Ive been forced to create a ghetto mute button by creating an assigned gate preset. Other than that its a fantastic interface for general use (production, meetings, etc).

Hello guys---great job w/this. It packs a LOT in the feature department for the $$, but one complaint that's coming up is the lack of a deesser in the Fat Channel processing. Any plans to add a simple one w/an update down the road? Is that even possible??

Does anyone know if you could use an sE DM1 Dynamite plugged directly into the Revelator io24's XLR port instead of positioning it at the mic-end of the XLR cable? I've had my Revelator io24 for a while now and find it's been really good for helping to level-up my audio and mic setup but I am wanting to add an sE DM1 to the audio-chain as a further 28db of gain so I can mess with my sound-floor more and filter out unwanted audio through better gain management and I know with other interfaces you can plug the sE DM1 into the interface *or* into the mic so I'm wondering if I could plug the sE DM1 Dynamite into the Revelator io24 and not risk damaging either of them?! If anyone can help or knows for themselves, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Hello, thanks for your video. I have a question: Do you know if the audio interface allows using presets without being connected to the PC? I would love to have the freedom to use my saved configurations directly on the interface (not sure if it has any kind of memory for storing these settings) to play with my guitar and sing, with parameters like reverb and compressor already set, without depending on the computer.

Windows does not have such an implementation at this time so in most cases, you can only use one sound card/audio interface at a time. A USB mic counts as an audio interface in this case.
On Mac, you can create what's called an "Aggregate Device" in the Audio Midi setup and pull in any number of devices and aggregate their inputs and outputs so software like Studio One will "see" them as a single device.
You may try your luck with ASIO4ALL if you are on PC, however, this is not officially supported by PreSonus and requires manual I/O setup. Sweetwater has an article on this that may prove useful.

You don't. The USB mic IS the audio interface. You would either use your audio interface and a regular microphone OR a USB mic. - Joe Gilder

PreSonus doesn't allow Studio One to use any USB mic if you are using an audio interface without disabling your current audio interface, which doesn't make a lot of sense. This is a limitation on available inputs that you currently have. I hope to see an update for that in Studio One Professional.
Personally I would just like to use a quality USB mic I have as a talk back mic at the desk. It could be used for other things as well.

Hi. This is not a limitation of Studio One, but one typically of Windows. On Mac, you can create what's called an "Aggregate Device" in the Audio Midi setup and pull in any number of devices and aggregate their inputs and outputs so software like Studio One will "see" them as a single device.
