You said it can be controlled from an ipad, what about an iphone? Im planing to use this as part of a travel setup to do compression/ limiting / recording of a mini modular rig
After setting up and saving your settings in the Revelator Universal Control software do you need to run the app every time you use the io44? Or do the settings save to the device itself? Do the presets "stick" if you move the io44 from one computer to another? Does loopback work without the app running? Thanks!
After you set it up once, you’re all good! No need to fire it up again unless you want to make further adjustments. Loop does work without the app running.
I dont get the product. It's only 20 dollars less on Sweetwater than the 2 channel version. How does that make any sense? Am I missing something? 6:50 as for the left side heavy, you can fix this by making the interface a mono source in OBS in Advanced Audio Properties.
It only has one input as you mentioned. This is made to be extremely compact almost like an iRig. I can legit fit this thing in my pocket lol. I can stream from anywhere now by having this small interface that has loopback full functionality. I figured the the mic left side heavy issue. You have to set Universal Control (Device Relevator io44) to Multi. Once you do that, you can set OBS to pick up "Revelator Stream Mix A or B". Your record track in your daw is setup in stereo and you are recording a mono source, turn your record track in mono too ;)
