Honestly removing the stream mix was taking away a product selling feature which myself and many other reviewers showcased in our reviews. Now only having two stream mixes prevents users from having a 3rd mix to record gameplay footage without guests or music etc. So yes 3 mixes where needed one for stream, one for chat one for recording for later uploads. After all the issues you've had with faulty units in regards to headphone ports, removing these features is a big reason myself and many others in the community have stopped recommending this product now.
hhh, just purchased my first presonus product, the Revelator Mic~Cool things for my live streaming. And also can do an average job for voice recording while I'm in traveling.
Thanks Joe...I think this walk-through should be a default part of the Revelator product information pack. As a suggestion, a blurb on the FAT Channel UI pass through into Studio One would be helpful. It took bit to figure out what was happening between the S1 Fat Channel UI and the Revelator Fat Channel UI. For example, some things seem to work bi-directionally while other things do not. Some official clarity on what is controlling what and when would be great. Thanks again!
Dear Joe..... can you make a (or have you already) make a video specifically to show how to connect my Revelator up to Studio One Artist 6.0 ? I've seen some videos that are close, but all the I/O setting etc. look different when I click on Add Tracks . . . Mine shows audio, Instrument, Automation and Folder ... Please help. Blessings.... Kevin
Hey Bro. Big fan here. I have a question. So if revelator is connected to my macbook, will it automatically detect the revelator interface? How about the software, will it automatically pop up to the screen. You know i just love live singing using karaoke videos in youtube. I already have Yamaha HS8 speakers, Rode condenser mic, headphone. So im looking for the right audio interface for live singing from a youtube karaoke with a home studio quality. My friends highly recommend presonus revelator. Please do share some thoughts and answer my questions. Thanks
@@mrredritehand I actually did. Believe it or not, it was the USB cable. However, I still have to turn on Universal control and then turn off the effects on each channel.
Hey Joe, is it possible to record the main mix in studio one? Or better, the 2 mic inputs and the other (virtual) inputs? I want to record a MS teams meeting with my mic and the sound of MS Teams.
Hi, Ive set up as outlined and it seems to work in general, but I have one issue. My guitar (plugged into channel 2) is being heard by my pupil no problem (zoom) but is dry. It seems any plugs in S1 arent being streamed. Is there away to resolve this?
I know one thing y'all definitely need to fix is to make it so the io revelator io24 can use more ram then 2048. Which is 2 gigs of ram. My behringer UMC202HD can use up to 8048 of my 16 gigs of ram.
I use the Townsend Sphere 22L I was wondering does the Revelator allow for live modeling? Currently I have to change it in my DAW and route Source connect through there. I am hoping the io 24 could be a solution as the only thing I know currently capable is the UA twin. I don't need that many bells and whistles but the PreSonus Revelator seems like it might be awesome. I realize this is a very narrow question that you may not be able to answer. Either way thanks for the info!
Hi, I have a question, how does the loop back function with smart phones (Android in particular). Is it easy to setup, or possible for the loop back to work like the real-time in-stream monitoring that other USB mics offer though the Usb-(whatever out it is) to Usb-c connector into my android phone?
Android UC cant discover i24 in the network if Universal Control is not installed on the host, right? I know that you dont support linux but if only there was a driver/tiny app for linux which would allow android app to discover it on the network and control...
Couldn't you make effects selectable rather than having a preset of effects? For example, I don't use reverb or the other weird voicer effects. I'd rather have a second EQ or compressor. Having a more DAW like effects chain structure would not only compete with UAD and Antelope in a price unheard of but also make it much more usable for people that may need additional processing to brute fix cheap mics or poorly treated rooms. Which totally makes sense for a budget interface.
Every time I record or stream using my phone/iPad the audio goes only to the left side for the audience, I've tried every possible solution but nothing works and the support is useless. Definitely don't recommend if you're intending to use with your phone.
I like to see a Revelator, but with more inputs and outputs. Basicly this should be the core of an interface in 2022. Oh well. Who knows what's coming in 2022?
this is the single reason I will never buy a product from presonus ever again. luckily its only 120 and you might get away with this in america but in europe when stuff like this gets attention you are done and need to provide the users with the features that they had on purchase. you can't just """ REMOVE """ something, that's like stealing 20% of the customers money they spent on your products. your company will never go anywhere and your whole product line sub par quality garbage, from speakers to interfaces to microphones.

Same here! I wish they could put it back or make it a switchable option!
Totally agree, bonehead ass move by them. 5-10-24
How to use UC App with these devices?
What about Windows? I have a windows laptop a revelator and studio one 5. Would like to see a video dedicated to windows. And OBS
Hey Joe,
Can this be used in tandem with my Presonus audio box USB?
Can the DSP effects be used without the software & printed from to the vacal??
From all the Demos on YT this was the most understandable and helpful. THANK YOU

How do you use io24 just for an interface? I don't want to use universal control. I can't get any DAW to recognize both inputs for recording
You ever resolve this Brian?

Why doesn't it have a dedicated on/off switch? mine stays on when I turn pc off.

Your mic on this video sounds great for podcasting. Just curious what your eq profile looks like. It would be great if you could share.
Hi. I watch all u videos. Awesome explaination. Audio ibox. No jack available . Any solution

Laser or optical?
Very helpful! Thanks!

Add a average autotune in Voice folder and this will be a game changer !!!! 💯
