I don’t usually stay on camera very long in my videos and I realized after filming that I hardly look at the camera at all in this one. Many props to the people who manage to do that well in their videos.
Excellent demo, I love that teleprompter feature (didn't know about that), it will make for much smoother and better presented videos. Thanks for sharing
Hi @HeatherMajors. First, thanks for the this insightful video. You mentioned it's possible to cut any part of the video by first using Split. Can you explain it in a more detailed way. I split the video and now I know that I don't want the second part. However, I couldn't get rid of that part?
So what you need to do is split at the beginning of where you want to then use the split tool again at the end of the part to be removed. click on the section that was created by the split and then click delete.
Steam is a a light weight editing tool and does not allow action buttons or clickable images. The best you have is the interactive feature where you can put a Microsoft Form in the video. The video will stop show the form, and then when the person is done, the video resumes. I talk about that a bit in this video: ruclips.net/video/gNj3Mrb5oGk/видео.html
Depending on your license type, you can edit Stream videos using Clipchamp. Here is the video I did on that topic. ruclips.net/video/MDWbciYKvfo/видео.html
So here is the question. Stream Classic is going to be going away. This leaves a very nice way to access videos and easy way to find them when your looking bc they can be tagged. I see the new stream is a MASSIVE DOWNGRADE. The reason being that the way i find stuff is terrible and feels like it wasn't thought out for more than 20 seconds. It cannot be organized. You are at the mercy of whatever trash algorith sorts them unless im mistaken
It is getting better than it was but Stream on SharePoint is for sure not going to feel like the "youtube" portal classic Stream was. Some things that have rolled out and I use to organize my videos are the highlighted content web part and playlists. I use Highlighted content a lot because I can put it on a SharePoint page, use a meta data to tag the video by topic and the videos auto feed to my filmstrip when added to my video library. Playlists are a bit manual since you have to go and add the video to the playlist but it is not that much different than adding channels to a video in Classic. Just 2 more steps. Last if you use SharePoint search instead of search on the Stream home page you can find video by key words in the description of the video and then narrow the filter to show only video. Soon Microsoft says there will be a video vertical, meaning there will be a tab that shows only video. So long way of saying I like classic but since I have no choice in this I have found a few ways to make the most of what I have.

The teleprompter takes some getting used to, but you are correct, it is helpful especially when one must say something in an exact way.

Can you make a take action button in Stream? Or make an image clickable?

How can I shorten a video via Microsoft Streams for free?
