Check if you have access to Clipchamp. It is better than Stream and it is a part of Office 365 E5. If not, you just create a free account with Clipchamp.
Hi Dr. Nitin, your video was very helpful. However, when I select the screen as a backdrop, I immediately get the countdown and the recording starts instead of what you show on your video. I wish mine worked like yours because it's annoying. Any suggestions?
Hi @mxmike123. Use Edge browser. Do not click the first or second button. Click on Backdrop first - choose the Screen as the backdrop. Select Full Screen, Window or Edge tab. Thanks. Please note one inaccuracy in the video. I mentioned that Stream files cannot be shared with External parties. That is wrong. External sharing is now available - just like any other OneDrive file.
Dr. why do you think Microsoft won't allow for sharing outside of our organization? We use Loom to make those videos that we want to share with customers. Such a waste to have to have another subscription service when MS Stream can host the file like any other file in my SharePoint file system. Any thoughts on when they will allow for public sharing of the file like sharing any other file that is stored in our organization's sharepoint?
Good news. You CAN share Stream videos to external world - exactly like we do with any OneDrive file. This constraint was there for a long time. It is not mentioned in the roadmap - I did not actually check it while creating the video. I don't know exactly when it was enabled. So the video wrongly mentions it as not available. My bad.

What is recording limit
15 minutes. As of now. No logic. But that is what we have.
I don't have any visibility about whether MS is going to increase it.
