Last night during the Republican Presidential debate, Senator Tim Scott said some stupid shit. I'm completely deconstructing Scott's comments about how black people survived slavery. I will break it all down with a professor who studies how black men are affected by the social welfare system.
President Joe Biden's impeachment inquiry started today. Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett brought the heat. We'll show you what she had to say about this process where there is no evidence of any wrongdoing on the President's part.

If the govt contributed to Flints water contamination - either first hand or via knowingly being complacent- then let her local politicians contribute the $ needed to hit her goal - let the gov5 take on the task and expenses of getting water filters to those who are in dire need -- the people’s tax dollars paid the water bills that were poising them - the govt should reconcile this issue and come out of their pockets - not the people

Journalist (Nels Abbey) writing for the UK Guardian newspaper (19/09/23) used the term 'racism laundering'. I consider this term explains Tim Scott extraordinary comments about slavery. Mr Abbey observes this is where institutes and powerful people, understand how useful it is, when minority voices both mirror and echo prejudices that are deemed unacceptable, with the objective of shielding non-minorities from being accused of being racist. Brilliant insightful article. Sadly there is no shortage of minority voices only too willing to play this role. The upside however, is recognising this tactic as Mr Abbey has done,and labelling and calling it out for what it is -as Roland also routinely does.

The women were paid more for each baby only if the men were no where to be found.

Don’t buy into the hype of black men not being in the home. My father served in WWII he worked and my mother didn’t work until we were in high school. I helped her with fractions to pass her dietician test. My mother worked as a dietician at the White High that her 7 of her 8 children attended.
And to give some clarity to the absence of black men in the home. Our captivity prohibited our ancestors from marrying (jumping the broom ). Our men and women made commitments to each other. Our parents were married. Our friends in Alexandria LA had a home with both a father and mother (Common Law counts).
