Now, how does one achieve 3-5 degrees? Does anyone know what 3-5 degrees looks like on the lane? Have you practiced 3-5 degrees? Can you obtain 3-5 degrees through transition? Throw bot is great and all but doesn't account for transition over X amount of games (which you are certain is going to happen)
Very interesting 🤔. How does this discussion relate to ball motion i.e: continuous, angular, and traction? Obviously speed and flare - finding the friction in the front end sets up the entry angle. The impact angle is affected by how the rotational energy of the bowling 🎳 ball (flare) properly stops to enable the roll energy to take over and directionally target 🎯 the strike pocket. Entry angle too steep or too shallow - too much rotational energy or not enough will result either a split or flat 10. Love how Radical empowers understanding.
I’m so glad Phil is concerned with continuation, a lot of these brands are a bunch of horse crap. I throw a 14# ball and you would never know cuz of how continuous these radical balls are. Mo and Phil created great things. The closer pearl hits so hard it’s not even funny
Will radical the spy plastic bowlling ball have dot technology drill anywhere technology and dynamic core technology in the bowling ball too upgrade version of the radical the spy plastic bowlling ball with the first to have dot technology drill anywhere technology radical Phil ok
Or we could just have 1 term "entry angle" and then measure it at breakpoint and near the pins, and say so. No needs for extra terms that confuse some people so then you waste more time and energy to explain them. Also in the end of the video where you talk about tougher patterns, you say one thing but show another. You say we need a more gradual transition (which means small entry angle and similar impact angle), but you show a shot that has similar entry and impact angles only because the ball was thrown way to the right and rolled out. Which you mentioned we DONT need in tough patterns.
Throw bot is a joke.. human error is what id rather see. If I make a mistake and go a little out or a little in how will the ball look? Throw bot throws it the same every shot
I have always wondered what the difference was. Thanks for explaining that so we can better understand it.
Great explanation... I do like the examples from the previous videos. Thanks for the information!!!
Excellent! I never understood the difference between the angles before. You explanation and advice is VERRY helpful.
Great segment! I really enjoyed all the next level information! Now if I only had a machine to measure the angles....
Great video!

The rule of 31 calculation is equal to 5 degrees. So on a 42' pattern, the 11th board at 42' is 5 degrees from the 1-3.
unless it doesn't strike or it leaves corner pins. then it's not getting the correct angel. @@byronfranek2706

Good information. I did not know some of that. Thanks
I guess I need to learn what that looks like from the foul line. I am surprised that entry angle distance isn't affected by pattern length.
Thanks Phil
would surface to a ball change the entry and impact angles
