@@car.gems. doesn't really matter where you are. It can be done anywhere in the world. BS racing has 750hp om648 built in Finland... It doesn't mean it can't be done in US. 1.9 tdi is very popular and there is a ton of custom parts and modding info available. Can't say the same about cdi.
400hp 1.9tdi will have very little stock parts, so we'll be talking about building powerful engine BASED on 1.9tdi. What we're doing here is adding more power to stock motor.
I can build 600whp om648 but internally it'll be completely different than stock. So you're using it more as a BASE.

Cut a dryer vent cover hole in the side of the building or the door. Get some rubber hose and put it on your exhaust when you need to start a car. Use the vent to push the exhaust outside. This way you don't lose the heat in the shop or poison your self. You need to use the dryer vent to stop rodents from getting in your shop.

Great video. I'm currently in the process of replacing the oil cooler and seals of the shitty OM642 of my GL320 CDI. Hoping EGR delete and PCV valve reroute away from the intake can help bulletproof this Mercedes diesel. Also read suggestions to remove engine top and bottom covers to let the engine breathe more. It would be great if you two could do a video on bulletproofing the OM642.

Great job, gents!!! Makes me want one of those CDIs with your mods. I would also like to know how the work affects MPG and emissions. Regarding the latter, I'm guessing they are better since the engine is running more efficiently. MPG is likely affected, but maybe not much, if at all... depends on the tuning of the ECU.
Keep up the great work, Alex. Terrific stuff!
    Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
