Why isn’t codeine listed? An opioid is an opioid. I take Tylenol 1 on the regular but I don’t take them for the high. I have painful bladder syndrome and T1 is enough to control the pain as needed. I used to be hooked on Percocet until I was given non-opioid medication for my bladder and after being off for 4 years it’s such a relief. For those genuinely who want to quit I have this advice. First couple years was fine I was taking 20-30mg 3 days on 2 days off never got dependent. After the first 2 years my dose slowly climbed to 80 then 120. Then I had a 5 day break (wasn't that fun) Came back and stayed on 120 about 4 months then somehow climbed to 190... here we are. Lucky for me my physical symptoms are worst on the first day. Second day not so bad and after that it's mainly tired. What really gets me is the psychological I never once nodded on opiates in 4 years. Never passed out never ODed not even close. I took them to get to a point where I could do the things I normally wouldn't do with my ADHD. The hardest part of coming to terms with is trying to remember how I used to live sober. Thoughts with everyone out there doing it tough. It's a cunt of a thing. A real love hate relationship.

I do hope I pass because I do depend on pain medication. The kicker is I just figured out that my wife has been stealing part of my scrips, probably for months, even though I keep all my medication locked up in a rifle cabinet that I use for a lot of valuables other than storing rifles in it. So she must be grabbing the key (which I keep in my jogger pocket at all times) either when I'm taking a shower, or when I'm sleeping. So now I'm sitting here wondering if they call me to tell me next week to tell me I'm kicked out of their program because I came up clean again, should I tell them my wife has been stealing part of my script, or just leave that out of it. Big thanks to my cross addicted wife who has not been honest with her sponsor or the other AA members she has daily meetings with.
