Actually its not a difficult language. I'm a french speaking guy and from my perspective, learning chinese is way easier than learning french or spanish English is amazingly easy tho

Lol you are exagerrating there, I'm European bred and moved to a different EU country and yet I have not been stopped by the police here lol, I have been to the states many times, I love being out at night the most and have never been stopped by police, neither have the Black males I am with. It does not happen to everyone. Despite all the madness that goes down in the US, I can say out of all the countries I have visited, I have enjoyed myself the most in the States so far.

And according to context, the lady is just referring Fel's a handsome black guy. Trust me bro, she is not hostile. To be more specific, this sentence could be analyzed in the following way linguistically: 他是(He is )黑人(Black man)来说(this word is to imply a certain topic, no actual meaning),长得(looks)比较(comparable)帅的(handsome).
She probably purposely not as hostile in the way an American racist is, but it still comes off as such to a western audience. It's true that East Asians prefer light skinned.

Completely agree. Though I've been to China (Shanghai and Kunming) and didn't see this warmer side of Chinese people. I think it really helps to speak the language and garner their immediate respect. Also I think getting out of the larger touristic cities helps. These people are amazing!
China is a safe friendly country, though it does have some crimes, mostly thefts and minor scamming, there are seriously bad criminals but they are extremely rare. China is tough on criminals.

It is wonderful to travel and see other countries outside the United States, and China is definitely one of those places. People here in America would not believe the hospitality and good nature of citizens in other countries, and that's because they are well taken care of by there perspective governments and aren't living in a bubble of lies as is by some western countries.

The people with whom I met were very curious about me as a Black American and very respectful. I didn’t speak the language. I’m happy to see that you do. I can’t imagine walking the streets at that hour of the night here in the America. It would be downright dangerous!
