Unfortunately I had nothing but issues with my Eve Hybrid Mattress, had two different mattress that didn't work out for me. So I thought I would do this review of the product and Eve's customer service.

Had my eve mattress almost 2 years and its the best thing i have ever bought, DON'T BE PUT OFF, this guy had a bad batch and obviously feels like every mattress they make is faulty when they are not, once these mattresses are rolled up and compressed you can't check the condition inside for obvious reasons so there will of course be bad batches as with every product you buy.
Very true, but 2 in a row is not good service for such an expensive product. There are plenty of competition out there to not make compromises

@@Robert_W7 Hope you get a good one pal, just unzip the cover and make sure the foam is all perfect. It's a good job they do a trial. I think Simba is also doing a 30% off sale atm.
I won’t go for this then looking on various sites nector and simba look best for bed bundles but going to a store to look at some first lay on mattresses what did you go for instead would be good to know we are parents so need a good bed

Irrelevant to the quality of the mattress though providing (as seems to be the case) that he didn't damage anything.

I have 4 eve mattresses for my whole family and each of them is a different type of mattress. Eve is the best company. I lost money buying two Simba mattresses which were absolute rubbish.
I bought the eve lighter hybrid mattress..I thought it was rubbish..sent it back…ordered a Hypnos mattress hand made in the UK
How did you get on with the hypnos? Trying to decide between hypnos wool 6 and eve hybrid original atm and any i fo would be much appreciated 👍
@@Gravitas2019 I tried both. I was unlucky with the Hypnos…might have had a a dodgy batch…mine had uneven stitching..and was giving me really bad back pain…very uncomfortable…If I was you I would trial the Eve…because you can return if not suitable without hassle…

Hi Kim, which hypnos was it? Was it Wool Origins 6? I know some of the cheaper Hypnos no turn ones are not that great because they have no wool comfort layers like the £1000 + ones.
He knew absaloutley nothing about the mattress. I'm definatley still going to purchase one based on every other review.
You don't need to know anything, it's simply faulty. Check out the simba mattress, I got one of them instead much better quality.
@Ben Davies, Common sense should tell you that the first mattress was poorly made. And the second was faulty (damaged). So unless you have some hidden knowledge your comment makes NO sense.
Yep my Eve mattress has collapsed after 3 years and now wake up with terrible bakc pain. Never again
@@thesockdoctorr mine too😢 and also The case has broken The zip got crazy and Lost contact with The other side so I was using it without the case for a year now
For god sake. There’s nothing wrong with either of them. 🙄🙄 is that foam ever going to bother you if the zip is done like it should be
I have the same mattress and it’s perfect. Don’t Liston to him 😂😂
When your paying that much for a mattress it should be perfect, there is plenty of competition for hybrid mattresses you shouldn't have to compromise :)

I have had an eve mattress for 4 years now. I highly recommend you AVOID it like the plague!!! After the first year it started sagging in the middle and it’s given me the worst hip and shoulder pain. Worst mattress I’ve owned by far.
Rotate it 180 degrees that helped with mine sagging
@@Crosswizz we rotated it every 3 months as per the guidelines! Still made no difference :(
I actually purchased this before I sore this video lol so Just had my eve matress delivered today!!! Got to wait 6 hours... fingers crossed.

just an update - I absolutely love the mattress.The customer service at eve were also very helpful and responded to all my queries very quickly. I recommend.

I just ordered one a few minutes ago. I am a little worried now...but hopefully it will be fine. Maybe they was a faulty batch? Not sure if they have a batch number? But like he said, its poor quality control.

I'd recommend looking at as many reviews as you can. This was my experience to give you an idea of what could go wrong.

Might be an idea to learn about the type of products before "reviewing" them. Double mattresses range from £199 to £2000 or more so this mattress at £599 is not expensive. Its low - mid range. Like a ford or a Vauxhall. Your expectations are too high. Also in terms of a mattress review Id be looking for information on how the feel was in comparison to the description eg Medium/ Firm. How you and your wife found it in terms of heat, weight transfer and comfort. Anyway, it was useful to see that the quality is not 100%, thanks and better luck next time.
What's price got to do with it. The second one was clearly defective!
You still wouldn't accept a new Ford or Vauxhall if bits of it were broken, body panels not aligned properly etc.

DON'T BUY AN EVE MATTRESS! MINE HAD CUTS IN IT AND THEY SAID THAT THAT FAULT WAS ACCEPTABLE.

It did smell when it was freshly opened but the smell gos away after a couple weeks
Buy otty ..they are really good
Just don't get an Eve mattres they are crap and the warranty is useless.Look at the bad trustpilot reviews and you get the true story.
Yeah i wasn't too impressed either. The Simba I've got is great though.
