I always grew up loving music trying to learn guitar and getting nowhere and not even enjoying myself. Until one day I saw a video on yt of Abbey Road Bass only, started playing the bass and trying to learn Beatles songs on bass and realised that the bass is always what spoke to me. I, too, picked up the bass because of Abbey Road. It was after listening to the 2009 remasters.

@@eubasss do you know why some songs have different time signature changes before returning to 4/4?
Thanks, not played bass for like 9 months as band practices have been impossible, then all of a sudden I was asked to learn this song... None of the online tabs handled the timing very well, and my rusty fingers and ears were struggling until I found this video! Very much appreciated!

Great job! Much moore to it then i first realized. Just one little thing im thinking about. Bar 53 and similar should be an g#, not g-right? Its an E chord. (Dont wanna be an a.h. here just thinking..)

Shouldn't it be played with a pick?
This is a nice song. It’s a pity that most original Beatles songs cannot be played because Goddam The Beatles are notorious Copyright Blockers.
I've been trying to use the original bass and drums recordings of Taxman to play above it and make a cover but I worry that it might get copyrighted, it most probably will
Imagine being the man who wrote many of these works of art and having to get permission from 50 lawyers to play it for people kind of like asking 50 lawyers to take your kids for ice cream.

Watch out if you try and play along with the original version of the song after learning this - the Bass on the recording is actually slightly out of tune, so unless you tweak yours to match it will sound very odd...

It's a variation/cover. McCartney, being McCartney, has all kinds of different (and interesting) bits in his and rarely plays the same thing twice (unlike this cover, which is nice but not totally accurate).
