I tutored my mother for the GED. Its harder than just being in school!! Im a female, and I LOVE construction!! They usually make me security, tag out, small carpentry side jobs, keeping the site clean. I like it because they tell me what they need done for the day, and turn me loose!!
Eli I'm finding your videos very entertaining. I love the stories. My Sister and I always made our own fun on the farm. We had 2 Uncles that were only a few years older than us. One summer they built a chopper bicycle. Well I was the one chosen to test this contraption out. Didn't go so well when they sent me down the hill on it.
We did the jumping into the loose hay in the barn thing. I jumped off outbuildings, climbed trees, went exploring. Definitely NOT Amish. Ida been excommunicated at 4 😂😂😂. I whacked my hair, and refused to wear dresses!!
Believe me, there will have been people who were gay in the Amish, people who were having gay sex etc. It's just that no-one was talking about it! And ofcourse it doesn't result in pregnancy so nothing like that to give people away. If you think it wasn't happening you're very naive.
Mr. Yoder, I agree that same-sex relationships being a sin. However, I also urge you to consider the following: "Judge not lest ye be judged," and, "Let he who is sinless throw the first stone." It is sin, but we are all sinners, and to judge a gay man or woman above a liar, a thief, or a murderer, is hypocrisy. If you could reply, I'd love to discuss this more with you. I respect you greatly and am inspired by your story and your faith.

Really enjoy hearing about your Amish upbringing, the similarities and the differences just the same. Concerning the Amish Church, the rules and differences between those rules depending on what community your in have me wondering where they come up with their beliefs. Initially I had thought they followed the bible and God's word to the T or to the letter. The more I learn, the more I see the influence of man in many ways and how that directly effects those beliefs. Again, similar to us English and our many denominations. Do the Amish practice any sort of "outreach"? Do they not believe in going and preaching, spreading the gospel and expanding God's kingdom? Did it ever fascinate you how they rolled the rock to close the door but it's some kind of astonishing event that the rock was rolled away to be opened? Like nobody was able to open it but there was a special way to close it.
The astonishing event was that Jesus was gone not that the stone was rolled away. That wasn't a large human feat, as you said, they rolled it there so they could roll it back. That's why they thought Jesus' body was stolen at first

It is heartbreaking to hear you call gay ppl garbage. After everything you've been through I would think you'd have enough sense to not judge others. God made them gay what right does man have to call their existence garbage or sinful? If God didn't want them that way he wouldn't have made them that way!
The Bible Says in Leviticus chapture 18 that God says its an abombmination unto him as he didnot create homosexuality. Sodom and Gomorriah was destroyed by God for preversion and homosexuality.

How do you know which version of the bible to read? Dont the different versions have different interpertations of the original text?
