I've lived here since I was born. It's not a bad place to live. Not much to do, but it's relatively quiet and peaceful. Used to be a lot more old buildings to see too, which have sadly been demolished over the years. That little strip of Franklin St/309 you were on used to be one of the busiest areas of town once upon a time. There was a railroad running north/south there near the Franklin/Market Street intersection, and the lot where Brim's and Sisters Midway are used to be occupied by a big iron works factory, the big parking lot next to the theater used to have a big hotel sitting there, yada yada. It's a small town with a much richer history than even a lot of the population realizes. I recommend Sisters Midway if you ever find yourself coming through again and have time to stop for a bite. They have the best breakfast in town. There's a gravel lot close by where you can park your rig.
