Great video as always. Here's my question, I noticed that with your leaders you have them tied onto swivels, do you reccomend this method or do you ever reccomend using a uni to uni when your just throwing actual lures like the plugs and soft baits? Thanks for all the info.
I've always used swivel with all plugs and soft baits but I make the the leader a bit longer then usual to give it that live look and it could swim freely all the way to the bottom easily.
Great video man! I appreciate the breakdown of baits, rigs, rods, and reel setups you work with. High tide is definitely the best tide. Keep on reelin' brother!!
I have a shimano 4000 reel on a 7’ medium action rod for throwing plugs and small rigs off the side of the pier. What type of line would you recommend? I’ve been looking at 10lb braid
Good & helpful information! Question regarding "Penn Rampage Jigging" rod. How does it perform? Do you like it? I have my eyes on this one....! Thanks in advance and good fishing.
Miguel Ramos man I love it really strong back bone when fishing inshore or offshore I've hadn't a quite a while , I definitely recommend it , I put the link below in my description , last I saw they had a sale for them on amazon for them
@@saltwatermercs Awesome man! There're definitely many Jigging rods but for that price is a good option. I also saw the "Okuma Cedros Jigging" rod as well for about the same price. Thanks again & hope to see you around sometime during fishing in the gulf coast. I'm from Baldwin County.
do i also need to be shirtless?
I think he’s just trying to show his body lmao. I won’t be shirtless.
It's a must everyone fish better shirtless
Absolutely..: you’ll get a wedgie if you have a shirt on.
Part of the experience 😂

I would recommend 20 lbs braid and 30 pound flouro for leader line
Do you have a video on how to set up the sabiki rig bro

Thanks man windy day
@@saltwatermercsaudio really wasn’t that bad keep doing what your doing 💪
That is not a trolley rig. A trolley rig takes two rods.
Justin Rigdon I been using this rig since I was a kid in south Florida . This is what we call back home , unless you have another name for it ?
Do you have IG bro, I’m new to pier fishing, went twice, never caught
@saltwatermercs
If you wore a shirt you could have used a mic
