Her jail calls are very different from her statement. What changed? Also someone stated that this wasn't her first time having a DUI as in high school she had also been convicted as a juvenile. The fact that the mother also had killed someone with a DUI and the father in jail was enabling her to say this was all an accident and that she's just a good person who got caught up in a wrong situation. Doesn't seem like anyone in her family wants her to be responsible so what gives here? I'm guessing her attorneys helped with that statement and the tears are her fright to end up in prison and not being able to marry her bf. Maybe she is a good person who only had enablers but regardless she needs to be held accountable for all those victims.

I know she's horrible and selfish and did a terrible thing, but she was once a loving, trusting, precious, cute little thing blank slate, but someone or some people screwed her up. Young people don't choose dysfunctional behavior, they are abused, disrespected, or ignored into it.

"Good intentions"?! Hmmm. Pretty certain that selfishly deciding to drive drunk isn't well-intentioned. Her lawyers nailed all the greatest hits. And her spewing of all her future plans?! What a slap on the face to the poor family and friends of Samantha. So sad. If only an eye for an eye did exist... Well deserved 25 years. Especially witnessing the shock she felt when the judge announced the sentence. "I've never been in trouble before..." No, doll. You've never been held accountable before. There's a difference. Sure she will think of the beautiful life she took as she colors her pages in prison. And isn't resentful that this "had to happen to" her.... The one whose parents have a living child.

The problem is getting drunk because drunkin people sometimes will not know what they are doing or even remember. I never want to loose control that way once while buzzed i couldn't feel my legs as much and that was enough to scare me straight. Also driving after one drink i was so paranoid getting a DUI is not worth it much less causing harm to anyone.
