      Appreciate it man! You know we'll be putting it through its paces shortly! I do have a secret weapon coming though...2.7" Eibach fronts are gunna help me sleep better at night especially when we hit some jumps/whoops/etc. Really dont want to blow my fenders off if i can help it!

      Oh man I never even checked when I was there! Just rewatched the vid and it looks like they're pretty close to the jacking spot (which oddly is a spot on the control arm) so we should be okay. If my control arms didnt have a ton of rock rash I'd be able to tell but oh well. Thanks for watching!

    Loving your content! (watching it on the RAM-TRX forum too)... maybe Arctic Trucks/Iceland need to make some overfenders?

      Thank you and glad you're enjoying it! But dont give me any MORE upgrade ideas haha! I've spent a new Camry's worth in upgrades on this truck as it is! Now off to google this overfender company you speak of 🤣

    Very nice. Yes I would agree you are the first for many things on the trx.
    Me personally am taking it easy on the mods until I am out of warranty but I would probably model my build based off of yours. Bad ass truck and you use it well.
    Taking mine on some trails today but i do a lot of city driving and I got the xl size rokbloks hopefully they don't hang up on anything...
    Also I guess I lucked out on My cv because 25k in and no problems

      @fullthrottlerick199  2 месяца назад

      Heck ya man and I completely get it. The truck is more capable than most right outta the box so even stock it's a blast. I think the Rokbloks are fine offroad as my bud in the Sandblast here bashed em all over Windrock with me last year and Uwharrie national forest and they just bend/flex perfectly. We went out with the Prodigal group both times so I'll link their 1st video here if you wanna see those mudflaps in action haha: ruclips.net/video/SkhuB72j2NU/видео.html

    Are you concerned about changing the geometry of the front CV’s?

    • @fullthrottlerick199
      @fullthrottlerick199  2 месяца назад +1

      Good question- so we changed the geometry a long time ago when we went up to 37s and then put the Eibach level lift on. There is a concern about blowing the CV axles as they are prone to failure under unknown conditions. If there was a rhyme or reason for why the OEM CVs are blowing, and that reason was always a lift, then we'd probably have left it stock or just the level lift. But some people are blowing the OEM CVs on stock tires and stock suspension and 0 offroading. It's still a roll of the dice going up a bit more, but we've been lucky so far and we have taken our Rex on trails that NO ONE in the world has done in a Rex so party on!!

      @adamg3911 2 месяца назад

      @@fullthrottlerick199 10-4. I personally never experienced this but I’ve read that some people who have changed the geometry of their’s have had repeated CV issues. Maybe there is something else going that is unidentified besides the CV’s that is causing these repeated failures but nevertheless it has me wondering if 37-38” tires are a good idea on this platform, at least with stock CV’s. Your truck looks great btw.

      @fullthrottlerick199  2 месяца назад

      @@adamg3911 First of all, thanks man! Second, on the CV issue - I'll say this - i dont think it helps the CVs in any way to change the suspension geometry haha. There are a lot of theories out there but the ones who are bone stock and have 700 miles, have never launched or driven offroad and blow their CVs...those kinda blow all theories out the door. Only thing I will say is it MAY have something to do with those folks who live in colder climates. Something about the flexibility of the rubber used in the CV boots may not like the extra cold weather. My bud who lives in Ohio has blown 2 CVs (once when stock and once when he upgraded to 3" front lift and 38s). Only commonality is the cold place he lives

    Looks great! I have the 1.6” front level on mine with stock front bumper. Do you know if 38’s will fit with stock front bumper on?

    • @fullthrottlerick199
      @fullthrottlerick199  4 дня назад +1

      Appreciate it man! That's a really good question on the OEM bumper and my suspicion is that you'll probably have clearance issues with the stock bumper (as well as the pinch welds and wheel liners like we did). Bumper aside, you're going to have a lot of cutting to do especially with only a 1.6" lift up front. We were rubbing like crazy with the 1.6" lift up front. Our wheel spacers probably made that rubbing worse on our end but you'll still have a lot of trimming to do no doubt! Let us know how it goes or what you decide to do my man!

    • @VisionaryFE
      @VisionaryFE 4 дня назад

      @@fullthrottlerick199 I appreciate the response. I’ll probably go with 37x13.5R18 BFG KO2’s so I don’t have much issues. I have pretty fat spacers on mine too. Couldn’t deal with those sunken in wheels for long. It was her first mod 😂 Stay tuned. I’ll drop a vid

    • @fullthrottlerick199
      @fullthrottlerick199  4 дня назад +1

      @@VisionaryFE So with the 13.5" wide AND the spacers, you'll probably have some rubbing issues that will require some trimming. I know KO2s are usually narrower than they advertise so you might be okay but wanted to give you the heads-up. 37x 13.5" wide with 1.6" lift and no spacers, you'd probably be fine but the spacers make it much more likely to rub-a-dub dub unfortunately. Keep us posted!
