I think this is a reference to the Great Fire of Rome, right? Where Nero, an insane roman emperor, allegedly set the Rome on fire just for the spectacle which he wanted to accompany with his lyre playing. I guess there is an analogy in that CNN is also contributing to the fire while fiddling to it.

Literally what I was about to type.
Not too long ago, there was a rebellion among the military in Turkey. And I happened to stop on CNN because they were showing live video from the streets of a city in Turkey. And there was a line of tanks on a bridge. In front there were several guys in military uniform. And approaching were a group of civilians waving flags and signs and such. The military fired over the heads of the crowd. Very high over their heads, no chance of hitting anybody. But the crowd kept coming. Then the military fired into the ground in front of the crowd. The crowd kept coming. Then the military leveled their rifles at the crowd.And I'm in my living room bouncing up and down and shouting at the TV. Am I really going to see this?Well, no. I'm not. CNN went to commercial. 12 solid minutes of commercial. And when they finally came back they were doing something else, with talking heads claiming it was Trump's fault, whatever it was.So because of CNN I didn't get to see it. What I didn't get to see was this. The military guys looked at each other, looked at the crowds, and then... Then they laid down their rifles and walked away. The tank crews got out of the tanks and just walked away. They decided they would not fire into crowds of civilians. And I did not get to see it because of CNN.
Because you (the viewers) are babies to cnn and need to be protected and spoon feed and too stupid to think without cnn tell you what and never why or how.

This was 100% accurate reporting.
I remember a day when every time I channel-surfed past CNN, they were showing footage of a roof. The "story" was that something interesting might be happening below that roof. We were supposed to stay tuned in case something happened. All day.
I keep coming back just to find new little slants and ways of phrasing that just make this all the better to watch. I really gotta say thanks for making this, it's brilliant, and informative. I gain more enjoyment than information from watching it, but that may not be the case for everyone, and I hope they get atleast the same enjoyment from these as I do.
Those scrolling stories are seriously the only reason I watch the news anymore. Half the time I have it muted, ESPECIALLY if there are pundits on.
