Parody of The Weather Girls' "It's Raining Men" written and performed by Remy. Mastering and background vocals by Ben Karlstrom.
LYRICS:
Welcome to Boeing, where we make earnings per share
And also, I guess, planes
Sir, I still have a concern about the safety of our process for the new-
Have you seen our new incentive pay?
Our new plane is fuel efficient
It's the Prius of the skies
And once we hit our ESG targets
We've got enough to worry about, guys
Diluting our key priorities
Is problematic for safety
Don't you think there might one day be consequences to this?
None that I can foresee
Um…It's raining men
That's a dude, yeah
It's raining men
A man!
Our passengers unlike our fuselage will be screwed under this plan!
Things could not be any going worse
Um, have you seen our diversity score?
Our executive team and door fastenings
Both have fewer nuts than before
If we reach our CO2 standards
I can buy that Panerai
The only carbon plummeting
Is the body of that guy
Oh don't tell me it's happening again-
It's raining men
Another dude, yeah…
It's raining men
A man!
Like Jim Morrison's overdose this is really bad for the doors, man
Is that a whistleblower plummeting from the sky?
😮😮😮
Yes, yes it is.
From our CH-47? Yes. 😂
No cos he avoided flying Boeing for that exact reason.
Those were different contractors that took “care” of that whistleblower

The S in BOEING stands for Safety
That explains a lot.
Sister!
S stands for safety in both AIRBUS and BOEING, oh...
@@davidadamek9689 damn airbus is looking fiiinee today
@@davidadamek9689 Hmm... interesting observation, kind sir.
As someone who worked for Boeing for more than a decade, this video captures the culture of the executive management perfectly
So you worked for McDonnell Douglas in a Boeing costume
Except the bit about caring about diversity, climate or inclusion. Definitely not a place known for those either, except maybe as a front in order to pay themselves more.
RUN
Should not have commented this, gonna end up missing under mysterious circumstances :(
Careful that you don’t get suicided with that attitude
The good thing about this,is that if the passengers are not alive, they cannot leave negative reviews ;)
Their next of kin might still be a problem.
Well they certainly can, on their way down. Their grammar might suck but their 1-star reviews will still stand, never mind they were racist sexist homophobic terfs who failed to acknowledge our astounding gains in competence since 2015.
@@Relkondnot after they fly cross country to attend the funeral.
@@MinnesotaCouchpotato I concede the point.
No no no…he’s got a point
Rumor has it that the main reason the executives are opposed to moving Boeing HQ back to Seattle is that the execs might have to fly in Boeing planes to get there.
The execs fly on their private Jetstream jets.
"Our executive team and door fastenings have fewer nuts than before"
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I had to stop the video!
00:38 for me. That was all I could stand.
That's when the Dr. Pepper shot out of my nose.
Best line in the song
Thanks for the belly laugh!
Nice little double-entendre...
Excellent parody. I am retiring from the military side of Boeing (Jan 2025). After 34 good years at a formerly great company, we deserve everything that we get at this point. I know a lot of executives in my current position and I’ve talked to a few of our Presidents (we have 3). They didn’t like hearing that we lost our passion and are being managed by Venture Capitalists.
What are you/they doing about it?
@@bbgun061 I work on the military side. I used to run the factory floor systems for the C-17 cargo jet. The quality problems that they are having is a lot of work, but not a mystery. 1. Follow and enforce your procedures in the factory. 2. Increase the amount of inspections. 3. Listen to the factory workers about the problems that they are having. 4. The areas that consume more hours to build than are budgeted for need to be looked at for re-design (I worked on C-17 re-design efforts. We reduced the cost of each airplane by $50M. Which made it easier and more cost effective to assemble). 5. Prioritize Quality, Schedule, Cost. Right now, it looks like Cost, Schedule, Quality.
@@bbgun061Taking care of #1, usually.
What made you decide to spent your lifetime on producing military equipment??? There is a lot of non destructive stuff to be done out there...
Careful talking about that kind of stuff man, I don't know what you can say about Boeing after working for them that doesn't get you a terminal illness or whatever.
Remy - doing his part to keep ReasonTV relevant
Remy, along with Heaton and Bragg.
He should make stuff for Amash honestly, better use of his talents then crappy inside-the-beltway libertarians like Reason
Whats Justin Amash up to these days? And why would you call Reason "beltway"? That implies they are sell-outs. @Kazekoge101
@@alexanderangelo7284they consider reason sell-outs for *checks notes* not endorsing nonlibertrain candidates
Reason certainly isn't doing itself favors snuggling up to John "Brianna Wu" Flynt.
“Boeing” is that noise you heard just as the landing gear falls off your plane.
the s in boeing stands for safety
save gaza btw
@@Aviator727 I agree on the second, tho i only half agree on the first... my fav plane is the 737-800... its reliable. but the 737's name is being tarnished by that abomination they call the MAX
Israel is a genocidal colonial project.
The way the executive points out the window and says "that's a dude yea" with no concern is just perfect 😂
I like the clarification of "a man". Like "Yeah, but it's just one.
Remember when the TSA was the main reason not to fly? Good times.

I've been laughing at the comments, but this one almost made me spit out my drink
So all of the people on those planes are men? Kinda sus
If it's Boeing, I'm not going.
I want to see this on a shirt.
Just because it's a Boeing doesn't mean you'll bounce when you hit the ground.
I almost want to add that if it's an airbus I am not flying either... But those seem to be much more reliable. At the moment.
It’s still safer than driving
@@weeblordgaming6062 Driving is safer... if you actually know how to drive. if you have no clue how to drive, or are driving while under the influence of anything including influenza... then it can be extremely dangerous for you and others.

"Like Jim Morrison's overdose." Bravo, sir.
The issue is not about DEI.
The word on the street is that the new management team came from McDonnell Douglas and allegedly was more focused on profitability than quality and safety. This is not a new phenomenon in companies, but it may point to a shift in priorities. Hope Boeing can work this out. They have made great aircraft and had great teams.
Remys playing right into the narrative that this was somehow about wokeness and not corporate greed.
perhaps I am wrong here, but I interpreted Remy's criticism of Boeing's focus on DEI as less about being one of those people who just likes to complain that things are "woke" all the time, and more about how the management was so focused on superficially winning as many awards and profits as possible that they forgot to make good planes. I didn't interpret it as that Remy is against a company genuinely actively welcoming of the idea of hiring a diverse workforce or screaming "woke" at things like a broken alarm.
@@lilacpilot3437given the publication, can we really expect anything different? lolberts arent going to criticise capital, it's the minorities that are the problem clearly.
@annegrey3780 I agree with your interpretation. I've never seen this channel before and (being LGBTQ myself) rolled my eyes at the "have you seen our diversity score?" line, but the "fewer nuts than before" really cracked me up and shows that they're not blaming DEI for this, rather they're saying that Boeing uses their DEI talk to distract from valid criticism of their business practices.
The sarcastic backing vocals "such diversity" (which I missed the first time) confirm this imo. 😂👍
I also just noticed they spelled out DEI as "Diversity, Equity, Inclusion", so yeah, they're definitely not blaming Boeing's problems on diversity, equality and inclusion! 🤣
Remy is the new king of parodys.

Babylon Bee has entered the chat.
"🎶.. Our executive team and door fastenings both have fewer nuts than before...🎶" This whole song was brilliant, lmao
Remy seriously carrying Reason here. This is amazing.
I love Remy!!
My flight just got cancelled because the wings did not have screws that had no replacements… this just gets better
What an absolute banger
Remy videos bring a special kind of smile to my face.
Unbelievable that we have come to this where a once cherished and industry leading company is a joke. Brilliant work man. 🙂
So funny! I died harder than a Boeing passenger.
NAH 💀
Hilarious. Reminds me of the formerly funny Howard Stern’s prank call asking about the cost of a plane ticket from NY to the Potomac River after a plane crashed there.
Any day a Remy video is posted is a great day!
Remember when at Boeing: if you see something, DON’T say something!
Certified banger (and I'm not talking about the plane accidents)..
Especially the refrain - let it rip yooo 🎉
Edit: we need an extended version
RIP Remy, I will be so sad to hear about his accident.
"suicidal chainsaw mishap in tiger cage results in bullets in the liver, kidney and heart"
Honestly, this is one of the best parodies ever.
Companies can be better for the environment by building products that don't fall apart after a few uses, but they'd rather do this ESG greenwashing nonsense
That’s where the investment capital went.
To be fair, airbus is both more committed to safety and more committed to the environment. It’s not a mutually exclusive thing - Europeans are just better at everything.

HAH!
That’s why Germany’s energy is more expensive and dirtier after trying to go green?
@@wightboy12345 No, it's because of their sanctions on Russia (necessary) and their transition away from nuclear (stupid and unnecessary).
