I take a cartridge filter jug and small, portable 'Steripen', that uses UV to sterilise water. Takes up virtually no weight/space (can pack things inside jug when on the move) and avoids water borne diseases and chlorine in town supplies.
Take minimal clothes and hand wash each day/2 days. Clothes get sweaty! I take a few metres of light cord to string up in/outside the room, lightweight stainless steel pegs and a tiny bottle for washing up liquid/body wash (can top up in accommodations) that rinses out easily.
I take a handsize, USB rechargeable fan. Sweat/heat rash is horrible and this rapidly cools off vulnerable areas (eg under boobs)
Yes to a cross body bag. A cotton sarong doubles as a 'travel towel' and sheet cover.
But never take boots, they take too much room/weight and take an age to dry. Cloth shoes might get wet but dry fast.
You must carry a huge bag to carry that huge thing just to clean yr teeth! An electric toothbrush is big enough. Also rinse the mouth/gums and gargle with listerine (available locally) regularly to minimise respiratory diseases. A tiny nasal spray bottle for 1% iodine to spray in nose while/after any public transport.

Great video you. You are well prepared. Most people buy items on the spur of the moment and it waists time on your traveling adventure. As always travel smart , safe and efficient. Cambodia is such a great country with ancient history and great people. I love the temples and also their boats. Please share mor . Agunjren

      Don’t eat. Haha.

Hahaha, but maybe DO eat. There's so much good food there! Most restaurants do this already, but asking for hot water to soak your utensils is a good first start. I used to take pepto bismol chews before I eat in questionable locations but slowly weaned off it. I waited a couple of weeks before eating raw vegetables to get my body accustomed to the ingredients. Otherwise, I had my vegetables either stir-fried or with hot soup (again, usually not raw). I also take probiotics for general digestion support (you should check this with your doctor or do research for yourself on this one). Some travelers swear by charcoal tablets for indigestion but I haven't tried it myself. Worth looking into. Hope this helps and good luck!

You may think you are putting yourself in danger by traveling to a third world country where sanitation standards are not as robust as they are in the West, but my experience has been otherwise. I have been to Cambodia on numerous occasions, even lived here for a year and eaten all manner of food, but never had food poisoning. As a matter of fact, you may find the food preferable here. Very often, the vegetables you eat today were in someone's garden yesterday. Almost nothing has preservatives or growth hormones in it. Truth be told, you will probably eat better, healthier food here than back home.

Hello-- May I share the most important news you will ever hear in life? God the Father sent His holy Son Jesus Christ(Y'shua Ha' Mashiach) from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. He grew up and died on the cross for our sins. He was put into a tomb for 3 days, and then Abba Father raised Jesus to life and He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must all sincerely receive Jesus to be a true child of God. It says in John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." Will you genuinely believe on Christ Jesus and truly receive Him today, before it is too late?
