This is the video I needed. Thank you. I’m kinda curious if your process and sound design changes per genre. Would love to see this type of video for rock/punk, indie/pop and then a country variation. Or just a video of you showing how you cater to the genre differently if at all. Thanks again!
Im an editor and trying new things. Im interested in editing concert video but the problem is where do i find raw footages to practice with or to make an edit to add to my portfolio. Can you please help me that it would be great help. Thank you in advance.
Shoot at 60fps and edit with intention. Match your camera movement to the rhythm of the track-sway the camera to the beat, and on those powerful bass hits, execute a quick swipe in any direction. Keep the motion going for a few bars, then switch it up for added dynamic effect. I hope this helps 🫡
pit? why are you in the pit? you're doing good enough work to be touring with the artist man. they should be paying you for the actual recap not this shoot from back of house and pit bs. also if you're using a shotgun for this stuff since you're recapping your audio - i use a zoom h1n on camera instead of a rode. granted i'm doing techno, but that's where it counts most. artists love the audio 100/10 times and always retain us for tour etc bc we consistently deliver better audio from the live shows with their edits.
The Photo Pit is NOT the same as the Mosh Pit Photo Pit refers to the area between the stage and the barricade, in front of the fans Unless you are directly on tour with the artist 95% of the time you will only get 3 songs from that photo pit
@@drewfromcharlotte who tf are you trying to school on where back of house, front of house, the photo pit, green room or stage is? i'm directly on tour with the artists 100% of the time. this dude's good enough to be with the artist's media team. the end.
an actual much needed tutorial
