How successful has you been at keeping water out of this cover? Do you use extra weather stripping all around esp at the bulkhead and tailgate? Also I have see most people get their gear wet when the open the unit when it wet on top? I ask bc I will be have luggage and electronics in the bed. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. I hear fewer people have water issues with the Diamondback covers. Nothing is a 100% but DB tends to be easier to remediate in terms of leaks with extra weather striping esp at the tailgate. @@daveh620
@@rlaracueI had this cover on a 2015 F350 KR and drove through a monsoon style storm and barely a few drops by the tailgate. Install is everything. Get everything as close to square as possible and you will be good to go. I also used a tailgate gasket for the sides and bottom to help with dust and water in that area.
Having a tough time deciding between the mx and xr rails. For only roughly $120 more should I just get the xr rails and have em in case I wanna add on later? I just prefer the flushed look of the mx rails more.
The electric covers don't have a lock on the outside , as well as folding hard covers. We carry many covers with no lock on the outside. Just give us a call 754-205-4575 or watch more of our videos. PS a screw driver with hammer would be able to get through this lock. This lock is heavy duty. We had to replace a few locks over the years , when crooks tried to get in. Not one was able to get though the lock.
I am outside of Philadelphia. Do you a) ship here and b) can recommend who can install this for me?
Yes we can ship any where in the US, just give us a call #754-205-4575.
I have the same cover on the same exact truck!
Do y’all ever do anything over in Tampa area? Or have any shops you recommend I have a build I need done.
Come down to us, it is worth the drive.

I have this top on a 2019 Sierra AT4 and my gear gets wet - water gets in on both sides & found no fix yet after 4 years

What did you end up doing. I’m trying to decide what to do for my bed cover. What did you get
How does this perform with snow and ice
very good
@@CHAutoAccessoriesMargate Cool thanks
how's this compare to roll n lock with water resistance? and is there a ballpark install price for one of these?
The Retrax is a little better for water, it is a 97% for water. As for in install just give the store a call #754-205-457
Vertically challenged 😂, what a nice way to put it!
I would buy this cover if the lock was inside box not out side where a screw driver and hanner can open.

@CHAutoAccessoriesMargate nice to know
Diamond back is water proof
hahahahahahaha the Diamondback is absolutely NOT waterproof. The hinges leak like crazy.
they (tonneau covers )mostly all leak don’t believe the hype
@@tjyoung4211facts! Had one the HD on my 19 Raptor. Good secure cover but more of a loan than useful for me. Especially by the cab with how it opened.
