Some of the spells in this game could fit into a horror game easily.
Firemagic in this game is basically Openheimer without medication.

Thanks a ton for uploading this! I loved playing this game but was never able to obtain all the spells. Appreciate being able to relive these cool effects from a game that’s almost 30 years old - crazy what they managed on a PS1!

Presumably you are using an emulator for this video, does your FPS drop significantly (from 30 to 15) when casting spells? It's hard to tell in the video and I'm trying to determine if that FPS drop is simply the way the game is or if I've set up my emulator wrong somehow.

I just did some testing and it also drops to 15 FPS for me when casting spells. Im using DuckStation and my settings should be at default. It seems this is just the way the game is, if I didn't turned on the FPS counter I wouldn't even noticed the drop.
