That has the classic signature of a tornado, the trees were snapped off high up and show evidence of twisting. They also were downed in different directions whereas a down burst or straight line winds would snap them off much closer to the ground and lay them out pretty much all in the same direction.
I love hearing you acknowledge God. You are so blessed. Keep reading those blessed scriptures. Stay safe and determined. You are such a hard working individual.Keep acknowledging Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.😇😇
On a positive note" Nature clearing some tree's. Fire wood for your family. The roof is repairable . On the west coast' fires and earth quakes. I'd take the storms over fire any day. And snow over earth quakes. Just sumthin to ponder. Your alive above all else. Hugz and a smile.
That tree is rotted out it is hallow inside. So sorry to see all the trees damaged. Thank God you are safe. Please be careful walking around in case some limbs are loose and fall on you!
I hate storms too. I also was in a bad one as a kid. Living in a small cabin with my dad when I was around 12. He was out working and I woke up to a tornado that nearly touched down right in top of the cabin. I lived in Harrison Michigan at the time.
You're so blessed with family who's knowledgeable about how to cope with storm damage, has equipment for it, the willingness to come help without delay, and the necessary cooperation to get it done! 🙏👏👍👍♥️
Thankful that you all were safe. Love that our family came over to help- THAT is how family is supposed to work!! Many hands make light work, and we are our brother’s keepers. Many good memories of Grandpa Woodard working on trees. 💜
I avoid large trees near the home, nothing but plumbing problems from roots and house damage from storms. I love trees from afar. So glad you all lived through it.
I love the way you family came together to help. ❤️That is just awesome and the fact that you went to look out for your neighbors😇 through the destruction of your own home speaks volumes. Oh my I wish I lived in a community 🙏🏽like that. I just love it!🌻
First time I saw this ! I haven't gone this far back. I dislike storms also. You have to take the good with the bad. Praise God everyone was safe! Lessons to be learned about keeping old tall trees near homes. Neighbourly, family love! To come and help. Yes firewood for sometime. Logs to build with? Thank you for sharing. Bless you.
Just saw this video from 3 yrs.ago, glad noone was hurt- sorry this happened on your watch, wish I was there to help- been enjoying your channel a lot- God Bless! Diane from San Diego
I just watched this video 2 years after the fact, and I'm very thankful you were safe and had help clearing the trees. I lived in the country during an ice storm in November...northern Ontario, no power, no phone, heated with the woodstove in a house under construction and not fully insulated. I also had two 2 day old puppies. I was alone, husband was hunting 6 hrs away. I was also 2 months pregnant. I consider it the worst experience of my life. I learned a lot from it though and am always much better prepared and less fearful. Love your videos. Lori
Trees are down and the winds have blown through and some buildings have been damaged no lives lost... where I live we had this every year in the Caribbean during Hurricane Season it's crazy we lose trees we lose homes and we lose lives so let's be thankful it could have been worse but it wasn't Mother Nature can do her thing and no matter what we want to do we can't stop her... wish you a speedy recovery from all of this...Thank you Jesus🙏🙏🙏
Thank goodness you’re ok! Your family is so great! So sorry about the damage to your home. It will get fixed and will be a chance to renew and renovate. Sending love.
hey Brooke, Aww I'm sorry to see that the tree damaged your house when it fell. Thank God everybody is okay! It's nice that you had your family to help you remove the tree. I hope the damage is not too extensive. Godspeed with the repairs! 👐 Thanks for sharing your video. Your people ... Callie from California. "SHE GONE!"
We've just been through a storm like this in Quebec about 3 or 4 weeks ago...we were without power for a couple of weeks...incredible, same kind of storm!
Pear wood is great for smoking. Cut split and dry 6mo. Also pear slab wood with natural sides, planed and varnish for shelving, 58"(+-) x 6(+-) $150-$200
So glad all you and family are all well. We were selling our home about 9 yrs ago. It came down and took the shed down and half of the sun porch connected to three back of the kitchen. We were set back months before we could put back up on the market. The 1974 house sat in a beautiful setting surrounded by beautiful pines . Days of wetness made it heavenly up from the roots whew the flashback memories.
I like watching storms, but hate the deviation of the aftermath. I've been through hurricanes and tornadoes, so know first hand how awful it can be. Pray for you always and sending love
Family is everything! In Florida, we went through a few hurricanes and only had a tree come through the screened porch. Could have been much worse! God Bless you all ❤️
WOW! That's a huge tree! So happy you are safe Brooke & family. Received great help from family & friends to remove the branches from the damage it did on your house. Still lots of work to clean up. At least you'll have good wood to burn. There was a tornado touch down with lots of damage & power outage near Ottawa & Gatineau, Ontario, Canada yesterday. I live in Alberta. We received snow.
Holy Crap. That is alot of devestation. Glad everyone is ok. You have wonderful family to help you so quickly. Prayers going out to you and your family. 🐱💞
I'm so sorry those wicked winds tore up your beautiful space! But Brooke it could've been so much worse! I know it's bad...but you can still live there...thank Heaven! How bout that Family! They cut it all down to something doable...that's beautiful. Thank you for sharing it all with us...I'd like to be right there...hauling and clearing with you. Stay Safe Bless you. Cate
Hello from Oklahoma! So sorry this happened. Thank God no one was hurt. That little voice can be a booger sometimes. Good to hear the family is helping you with this. Where I grew up in Nebraska, we always helped each other out. Its the American way. No waiting for the government or somebody else. The upside, plenty of firewood, and wood for projects. My prayers are with you and your family. Love what you and bushradical do. Thank You both!! God Bless!!!
Oh that would be the worse, hearing the crack of the tree breaking and not knowing where it is going to hit - thank god you aere all ok. Of course I am surfing your videos so hadnt seen this one before 🙂
if you can get some decent 8 ft logs out of those trees take them to a sawmill they will pay good money, beach is a beautiful lumber for furniture making
Omg I'm so sorry Brooke, wished I was closer,I'd help you clean up the mess,as im good with the chainsaw and i love pizza ,and the thing is i live right in the path of those storms that were to hit here, along lake ontario shoreline ,but some how it ended up missing us,and glad it did,but still im so sorry about your house, and i hate storms, always have,as i had a bad experience with lightning as a child,so I hide now,but living in a mobile home with a bunch of tall old popular trees around you don't help matters either ,you can't really hide, you just pray alot, and by the way i saw a deer in the woods, and of course the turkeys,in your video i hope the best for you Brooke 💙👍😊... So sorry Brooke. Thank goodness for family. I understand the fear of storms, Im from Joplin Mo where a F5 tornado went through in 2011. Ive been afraid ever since. The amount of help we got from all over the USA and foreign countries was unimaginable. So I understand the gratitude you have for all the help from family. Hopefully, you will be able to get your roof fixed quickly before y'alls winter gets here.
Dang, that would've scared the crap out of me too... it actually fell ON the house! I hope you were hiding in the cellar during the storm or something!
Two weeks ago a huge oak fell on my house! It uprooted due to the weight of the snow on it. What a mess. In the end girl, we survived it. Still alive & no injuries. Melting snow all over the floor. Took 2 guys 2 days to cut the tree off the house. Huge beautiful tree. Still cleaning up the mess. Stay safe girl. Glad you are ok. I still love trees but not when they fall on me. The tree was an oak & fell from one side of the house to the other. Love your videos & your beautiful dog.
