@Jayne Wiley…my Aussie/Border collie mix (passed over the Rainbow Bridge a few years ago) would have the regular “zoomies” and when she got really excited when she was in the house, she would do what We called “butt tuck” zoomies where she would lower/tuck her rear end and run through the house barking and spinning from time to time…she was one of a kind…my latest dog is a two year old Australian Blue Heeler/German Short hair mix I adopted from a rescue in middle Tennessee (AARF) about 100 miles from where I live…it was so worth the drive 👍 …she has been a blessing to me 😇😇😇…and yes, she is the “zoomie” Queen 🥰🥰🥰

I'm currently recovering from L total hip replacement surgery & am waiting for R total hip replacement surgery because I have avascular necrosis in both hip joints which means there is no blood to them anymore & they can break at anytime. I'm in excruciating pain most all the time. I've been bed bound for quite some time now & only VERY recently found your RUclips channel & I'm SOOOOOOOO very THANKFUL that I did. I'm living vicariously through you right now. You get to do ALL the things I've wished I could do for a VERY long time. I love, love, LOVE that you pray & are genuinely thankful to God for his creations & nature & your food & your fur babies & the beautiful weather, etc, etc. Lil Moose is such a cutie. I wish I could get my hands on some of those beautiful leaves you have there. I do a lot of different crafts. I'm in the dry desert in Nevada. What a cute name combo ❤️ Smash a couple fresh cloves of garlic, 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (however much you can handle, but the stronger the better) and 2 tablespoons good honey. Mix well, take a tablespoon at a time, 3 or 4 times a day for a few days. This recipe can of course be doubled or tripled. This will bring your taste and smell back.
Moose has tons of personality! Having world in veterinary clinics about 17 years I day from experience that he is a mixture of two awesome breeds. I never met a Corgi or Aussie I didn’t like. He’s gonna be so much fun y’all 😍❣️

Oh,the campfire food choices are off the charts!!!😊 We went camping with Ginger one weekend. Nobody got much sleep as Ginger kept barking at deer in woods. Enjoyed going out in canoe next day. Loved camping when younger.

What a precious little guy! God surely blessed us by creating these beloved creatures. Brooke, I had a vicious virus in 1999, lost almost all of my taste. Interestingly, my smell is fine. So thankful for that. Still pray my taste will return 💯 percent. Doctor says it won't, but "With God, all things are possible." So glad yours is returning. Love your adventures, and you 🤗💞

I don't do dogs less than 60 pounds for this and other reasons but mostly it's because German Shepherds are my favorite and they average 75-100 or so pounds. My current male weighs 82 and is fast af, can nearly clear a 6' privacy fence when chasing squirrels at 6 years old.

That's one advantage to having a diminished sense of taste- you can't really discern the burned spots on the burrito's tortilla. Ha! Kidding of course. I lost Chester 9/2019 He was in respiratory distress and couldn’t get to vet in time. It was awful,. Then Chloe passed away in April this year from renal failure. It has been hard, but I would never trade the memories they gave me and my kids. Real close to getting another puppy. Seeing Moose interact w/Maisy and the joy a puppy brings…Gah!

When I had Covid, that was the weirdest thing and it felt like forever before it came back. As to the rest of its symptoms and it’s “long haul” symptoms, I wouldn’t wish that on anybody! Perfect choice for a pet! Been raising Corgis a long time, and they are simply the most adaptable, playful, personable, and cool dogs ever! Every one has their own personality, but also share certain traits among the breed. Don't be worried when he turns into a tiny velociraptor soon for about 8 mos to a year old. They will snarl and snap and bite at your toes, chew up everything, nip your fingers, etc. It's just a phase. Most people really fall in love with their grumpy but funny side. ❤️❤️❤️
The new puppy is adorable! He's a rambunctious little thing - so cute! The big girl is such a good dog, lots of patiance with the little one. She's doing the protective barking to let you know who is still the boss though,lol!
Yupyup, those days when the depression of Covid starts to vaporize and your sense of smell and taste starts coming back are the best!!! It's like you just thank Jesus all day long as life returns. It seems like the fact that you survived makes life way more joyful, like everything is new and you're seeing the world with new eyes. Every day as your health improves you begin to love foods you never liked before, suddenly they taste delicious, like you crave them. I even got real adventurous and tried a brussel sprout, still no bueno, that one did not get added to my new list :oP. So happy for you Brooke, healing from Covid, new pup, back outside, life is good. Just a suggestion, one thing that really helped my lingering cough (had it a full 6 weeks) was Halls menthol-lyptos cough lozenges, the honey/lemon ones. They worked better than Chestal, or Robitussen. Keep the faith, the cough does end!

What a precious little guy! God surely blessed us by creating these beloved creatures. Brooke, I had a vicious virus in 1999, lost almost all of my taste. Interestingly, my smell is fine. So thankful for that. Still pray my taste will return 💯 percent. Doctor says it won't, but "With God, all things are possible." So glad yours is returning. Love your adventures, and you 🤗💞

I don't do dogs less than 60 pounds for this and other reasons but mostly it's because German Shepherds are my favorite and they average 75-100 or so pounds. My current male weighs 82 and is fast af, can nearly clear a 6' privacy fence when chasing squirrels at 6 years old.

That's one advantage to having a diminished sense of taste- you can't really discern the burned spots on the burrito's tortilla. Ha! Kidding of course. Moose looks to be a wonderful member of your family and a great camper as is Da Woofie! So happy for you that your sense of smell and taste is returning.

After losing all 4 of my dogs in the last 15 months, your baby Moose has made me smile-not just because of his puppy zoomies, but seeing the way Da Woof interacts with him. Looks like you’ve got yourself a happy pack. Enjoy every moment with them.
Sorry for your loss. The end is always hard, but there is nothing like the love of a good dog! We are all the richer for it!

I lost Chester 9/2019 He was in respiratory distress and couldn’t get to vet in time. It was awful,. Then Chloe passed away in April this year from renal failure. It has been hard, but I would never trade the memories they gave me and my kids. Real close to getting another puppy. Seeing Moose interact w/Maisy and the joy a puppy brings…Gah!

I hear ya on the taste and smell thing. When I had Covid, that was the weirdest thing and it felt like forever before it came back. As to the rest of its symptoms and it’s “long haul” symptoms, I wouldn’t wish that on anybody!

Perfect choice for a pet! Been raising Corgis a long time, and they are simply the most adaptable, playful, personable, and cool dogs ever! Every one has their own personality, but also share certain traits among the breed. Don't be worried when he turns into a tiny velociraptor soon for about 8 mos to a year old. They will snarl and snap and bite at your toes, chew up everything, nip your fingers, etc. It's just a phase. Most people really fall in love with their grumpy but funny side. ❤️❤️❤️

The new puppy is adorable! He's a rambunctious little thing - so cute! The big girl is such a good dog, lots of patiance with the little one. She's doing the protective barking to let you know who is still the boss though,lol!
Yupyup, those days when the depression of Covid starts to vaporize and your sense of smell and taste starts coming back are the best!!! It's like you just thank Jesus all day long as life returns. It seems like the fact that you survived makes life way more joyful, like everything is new and you're seeing the world with new eyes. Every day as your health improves you begin to love foods you never liked before, suddenly they taste delicious, like you crave them. I even got real adventurous and tried a brussel sprout, still no bueno, that one did not get added to my new list :oP. So happy for you Brooke, healing from Covid, new pup, back outside, life is good. Just a suggestion, one thing that really helped my lingering cough (had it a full 6 weeks) was Halls menthol-lyptos cough lozenges, the honey/lemon ones. They worked better than Chestal, or Robitussen. Keep the faith, the cough does end!
