    SESSION OVERVIEW:
    Elise is a proud autistic athlete who plays Aussie rules football for Essendon's VLFW team and is the first ever AFL Disability Ambassador Player. Winner of the 2019 Victorian Disability Emerging Leader award, Elise runs Elise Muller Active Support where she provides mentoring, speaking, and autism consultancy services.
    In this session we hear personal insight from Elise and discuss topics such as:
    -How sports exercise can prevent meltdowns and help with sensory regulation
    -The power of integrating a child's special interest into areas where they struggle to spark interest and drive.
    -Finding balance during the process of desensitization.
    -How some activities are viewed as obsessions or distractions might be helping your child focus and or feel safe.

    Paul discovered he was on the Autism Spectrum 4 years ago. Since then he has worked with countless autistic adults and children, as well as teaching parents teachers and students about Autism. He is also an ex-aerospace engineer with a passion for teaching and Emotional Intelligence.
    Shannan is a single parent and carer of an amazing 9 year old boy on the Autism Spectrum. She is an ex-corporate trainer with a BA, currently studying a Masters in autism studies with Griffith University.
