A Gentleman in the full sense of the word with a gentlemanly voice which characterises his Old School Charm..how perfectly delightful to see you in your apron doing more to show us that traditional values and culinary excellence prevail notwithstanding . Thank You Dear Man .
Cheese Straws Are One of My Favorites
You just bought back childhood memories with my grandad. Thank you. We used to make these or soft meringues every weekend with him when we were little. The recipe isnt exatly the same, and we twisted them before baking, but still.. the accent and the time spent to explain warmed my heart. Thank you from Australia 🥰
I’ve been making cheese straws for years and never thought to use a pizza wheel to cut them into strips! I’ve always used a steel ruler and a large knife; very laborious!
Love your films - all of them. Your dulcet tones are redolent of the late and great Jon Pertwee !
The absolute best cheese straws!
Sir, You are amazing.
They look amazing! I can’t wait to make them. Thank you
I love it!
i like the dog looking on with antisipation
Love this, be amazing to do a video of making scones, fruit and cheese for the summer. Robin, Ross and all involved thank you.
Very enjoyable to watch ,now comes the actual process.....I'll be back....
150g lard, 150g butter, 450g plain flour, 150g parmesan, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon mustard powder, 1/2 cup water.... I would swap lard for butter, the nutmeg and mustard for a teaspoon of cayenne pepper & 1/2 teaspoon of salt, don't kneed it like that, only use your fingertips. You're welcome.
Spledid job! I enjoyed watching.
Thanks for your kind words. Robin
How delighted I’ve found your video. I spent a while last night looking for a good recipe and this looks different. So voila I’ll be making later today. Thanks.
Dear Robin, good morning. This burgundy color waistcoat suits you. You're stylish.Thank you for sharing We love cheese straws too.
G'day.🇬🇧🇷🇺
this lovely gentleman, states word for word, what the measurements of ingredients are, surely one can write the measurements down themselves, as they watch and listen to the video, you can always back up a bit, if you miss something..
Bound to be fabulous. Doing it all by hand is exhausting though - I'd use the K beater of ,my Chef machine and it makes the butter flour into fine breadcrumbs texture in about 90 seconds. It also does the kneading for you so you can get on with clearing the decks as it works. I haven't hand-rubbed fat into flour for years.
Caribbean ppl would use the unused side to grate the coconut meat from a dried coconut to make fresh coconut milk .... nowadays they just used a blender lolol
I’m from the Caribbean we make cheese straw also but we use fresh grated mozzarella or cheddar cheese and little mustard ,garlic and hot pepper also we use piping bag for the dough thank you sir enjoy
Please you can tell me about ingredient of this cake , thanks
Thank you so much
Thanks to you, please write the ingredients under please 🙏
The typing errors are hysterical!

You live in the Cotswolds and the best you could do was pigs in a blanket? Please don't tell me you had pineapple and cheese on toothpicks too? 😆😘
Lard? Yuck. You are what you eat.
No manners
We are rude?!
You talk way too much get on with the recipe!
Brenda aren’t you a ray of sunshine. I hope today has been a better day for you. If you weren’t aware, RUclips has a fast forward feature you can use. It would have taken less time to use the feature than to leave your rude comment. Merry Christmas!
You are very rude
Plse consider that these ppl are not professional Gordon Ramsey!! They are so nice and their recipes basic and practical 😊
