There's a link in the description but it doesn't give the full recipe, just assumes you have some spare "rough puff" pastry lying around. Here's the link: www.rivercottage.net/recipes/toms-cheese-straws Edit: Here's what it gives so you have an idea of the quantities: 250g rough puff pastry, 100g grated strong cheddar such as Wookey Hole Cave Aged or Old Winchester, 1 tbsp. English mustard powder, 1 tsp cayenne pepper or paprika, Few drops of Worchester sauce

You trying one would have been a great final touch. Other than that, great video.

He wasnt very clear about rotating the pastry alot.. You really had to watch him, since there was cuts where the pastry was in different orientations
I’d love to know the pastry ingredient amounts? How much flour, butter and water?

Yes, it’s the rough puff pastry recipe needed?
Please Santa, send me a friend to spend Christmas with. I'll make these straws but can you actually drink through them?
Plain or self raising flour .?
For those watching across the pond especially in the United States you should mention 400°F
an amazing video just too long putting puff pastry in the fridge and again but it turned out really well thank you
cooks of the future might not know what a vhs cassette was
apart from that great video as always
Slightly larger than a Beetamax cassette. Lol
Can I substitute cheese with something else for this recipe😉
Ha ha ha you could try vegan cheese which isn't really cheese so that you couldn't call these cheese straws ha ha ha
Instead you could use Pesto, chutney or marmite😊
Typo alert - 'Straws' not 'Staws'
